Let me start by saying the staff was overly friendly. This could be because the 20âs something female staff all looked like they got off the bus from burning man or a rocking party in SF this morning and showed up to work in their club grunge clothes.
Ordered a cup of coffee and watch out! It will literally be seeping with the earth worm flavor! I kid, but my wife did not enjoy the coffee at all and they were awesome and gave her a complimentary mocha instead.
They had an old menu at the door which on that menu the items sounded yummy. The server mentioned though that the items had changed and the current menu was on the wall. Sounded all relatively healthy but we were hungry and so went with the sausage (chicken sausage) which came with sweet potatoes, kale, and egg...letâs just say, vegans should just stick with what they are good with and leave âsausageâ burritos to the meat eaters.
After scraping out all the uncooked sweet potato, I was left with a very bland tasting breakfast burrito. I guess flavoring is not a vegan forte. Needless to say, I ate half of mine and my wife had two bites. We quickly and discreetly got up and left and walked over to the only other place that had breakfast food on the morning. The one and only Starbucks.
To the chef here is a free recipe for a sausage burrito... 1- Tortilla 1- onion 1- bell pepper 1-2 eggs Rustic potatoes Cheese Optional spinach Optional âappleâ chicken sausage
Grill up onions, potato and bell peppers (make sure to season with salt and pepper and a cast iron is preferred) then add eggs and if already cooked apple chicken sausage. Then throw spinach in at end so it doesnât wilt too much. Roll up in a tortilla and enjoy! Side of salsa etc wouldnât hurt. đ
As others have stated cool atmosphere and weird quirky music which I appreciate for that type of place. 5 star service and 1 star food so I give it a...
Read moreIt would be better if the owner of this establishment was not who he was. I will NOT support this business, and I never will and none of my business associates or anyone I speak to ever will, again. He is the smile to your face judge immediately after with that smile still on his face type of guy. Good thing he rarely shows his face. Still will not put a penny in his pocket. Stole the concept from a company that employed him for a decade Peteâs and built his ego so far up he thinks he is the best. He is disrespectful, rude condescending, and a liar. I waited a couple years to provide this. FYI. Had to wait so he could no longer pinpoint who is talking about him. Some people actually are smarter than you man. Not to mention prospective employees can get the ring around and no phone call to say you did not get the job that they gave to somebody that was their family member. It really is a shame that the divine provides to this type of person, anything but destitution. When you learn to spark conversations with people, you start to learn many valuable things that will help you make your choice on what business to support or not. How he treats his employees or prospective employees that literally have to drive hours to fulfill his demand on interviewing, this is just the icing on cake.
if you actually care about people and understand you have other options I highly recommend you do not support this business or any other location! From what else I have experienced you are highly judged on your appearance by any upper management person in this business. This is really a faulty company, faulty people in position, and it needs to be known. For example, if you are âfat âyou are pretty much worthless to them, and you do not deserve respect or kindness, or a...
Read moreBefore I go in-depth, this coffee place has an extremely open and friendly feeling environment. The coffee was okay at best, but the food is pretty good. Would I recommend? Yes I would. Okay, I tried the cappuccino, coffee, and chai latte. The cappuccino here was good, but I prefer Pete's coffee's cappuccino because of Pete's darker coffee. The normal small coffee was okay. The type of beans they use here aren't my preference. The chai latte was quite watery. The foods I tried were the Nutella croissant, banana chocolate muffin, Paleo bowl, and chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was quite nice: fluffy, soft, and tasty. The banana muffin and croissant were good, but the Paleo bowl was interesting. There were chicken, sweet potato hashes, raw kale with dressing, and some sort of other vegetables. The dressing was a bit salty, but overall the dish was pretty good and definitely different from what other places serve...
