Went into Home Goods in this shopping center. For a Saturday night things weren't as busy as I expected but not an empty store either. While perusing all the lovelies in the store, an employee walking to somewhere in haste, said to me, beautiful dress", as he passed by. I thanked him. If he'd been going slower I'd have told him, "way to make a pudgy old lady's day"! I learned after getting in the car that the same guy asked my husband if he needed any assistance while he was looking around. The young lady who checked us out was a delight. She was both friendly & engaging... genuinely so. Way to go Home Goods! Not sure if these attitudes are from training or just come naturally to these two. Fresh Market at Village Commons is a gem! They offer some of the most delectable handcrafted salads and bowls I’ve ever tasted, each one full of fresh flavors that make it hard to choose a favorite. The bakery is another highlight—the cranberry muffins are an absolute must-have! And don’t get me started on the tea selection; it’s impressive and filled with options you won’t find at your regular grocery store.
