I only wanted to give you one star. I have given you 2 stars because my first 2 times in this place, I had a good experience. However, the last few times have not been so good. Today is defenetly the last time I will go to do my nails in this place. Usually, I get a pedicure and SNS.
In the past, I have noticed that the lady who does my pedicure does not sterilize the metal tools after using them on my feet and nails. She cleans them with water and puts them back in the drawer. Now, imagine that you go to the dentist to clean your teeth and the metal tools that the dental hygienist uses have not been sterilized, and she used the same tools on the patient she had before you. Gross!! She's putting your health at risk! This is the same thing this lady is doing by not sterilizing the nail tools. The foot and leg massage was not good either. All I could feel was her nails trying to cut into my skin.
Then, when the other lady asked me to move to her station to start the SNS process on my nails, I noticed that the table was not clean or disinfected after finishing with the previous client. In addition to that, she buffed my natural nails so much, destroying the top layer of my nails to the point where they were hurting and almost touching the skin underneath. I complained and she did not stop!
SNS is supposed to be good for the nails and help them grow and strengthen, but this lady ruined that process with her bad work. I could say that she was not an expert in that matter. Another lady ended up finishing my nails and did the best she could although my nails did not end up as smooth as they usually get and are also thinner than normal.
It seems like the people in this salon are more concerned with working fast and taking more clients for the purpose of making more money which is great, but the quality of service that they are giving is becoming very poor.
I am a very good customer. I will pay the amount that you ask, and if I'm happy I bring new clients and give very nice tips. But when I do not get quality service, I say it. I no longer trust your service and will not return or send new clients your way.
Please, take care of your clients' health. Sterilize your tools before and after every use and make sure your stations are clean and sanitized before and after every client. Time for me to find a new nail salon; good luck to you all...
Read moreMy husband and I came here a couple weeks ago while waiting for his flight at the airport. The woman that did my nails, an older lady was so kind, careful and meticulous. She did a wonderful job! If I lived in the area, I would come back to her.
Unfortunately, my husband wasn’t so lucky. His pedicure was given to him by a younger girl- maybe “Marina”? Who couldn’t care less about trying. She cut him once pretty deeply, he naturally flinched and you would think that would be enough for her to exercise some caution or acknowledge it, but no. On the next toe she cut him SO deep, she kept trying to stop the blood, didn’t apologize, and then was quite apathetic when he told her not to cut his cuticles on the next foot- as if it was somehow his fault? Her “massage” consisted of her rubbing a bunch of lotion on him, when he saw the massage my tech was giving me he asked if I asked for a different pedicure than him, but we had gotten the same one. He had long travels ahead and the cuts made walking through the airports miserable. Now, 2 weeks later- it still hasn’t fully healed. I’m shocked at the lack of care that went into his pedicure. He said it’s turned him off of pedicures for the rest of his life. I don’t blame him.
Also, while we were there, another customer came in that apparently had been there earlier that day for an acrylic set done by the same technician my husband had, and 2 of her nails had already fallen off, how does that even happen? She also didn’t look apologetic to the customer that was being quite kind about the inconvenience.
In conclusion, my husband and I always pay together, but we paid separately because my technician deserved a good tip and I didn’t want it shared with the careless young one. Having an employee like that could seriously ruin the reputation of the nail salon. She either needs better training or a...
Read moreI stopped by this place because of the great reviews. When I walked in, no one said anything to me initially. Then a woman with reddish hair asked me what I wanted and I said a gel polish. She asked if I wouldn’t mind waiting 30 minutes and I told her I didn’t mind. After about 10 minutes she started placing acetone and foil over my hands to take off my existing gel polish. After sitting for a while a different woman scraped off the existing gel. She manhandled my hands, and grabbed them roughly. Towards the end, she began putting lotion on my hands and I told her that I didn’t want a manicure only the polish. She said that since she had cut my cuticles, she had already done a manicure. I told her that I stated when I walked in that I only wanted polish and didn’t know what they constituted as a manicure since it was my first time there. She got angry when I told her that I would pay for the gel polish price and the cost to shape my nails (they charge $5 for particular nail shapes). She said that if I didn’t want to pay the gel manicure price then she could remove the polish from all of my nails. I told her again that I would pay for what I told her I wanted and the cost to shape my nails. She got upset and just walked away. The woman with the reddish hair (maybe owner?) apologized and charged me for what I initially asked for and the cost to shape my nails. I would NOT recommend this place or ever go back due to how rude that other woman was. She provided horrible customer service and then when the conflict occurred she acted like a child by saying she would remove all of the polish off of my hands and walked away. I’m giving two stars: 1 for the kindness of the reddish hair woman and 1 because I mostly like how my...
