I saw a beautiful party gown walking by the entrance of your store in the International Mall. I just had to try it on. I was looking for a dress for an upcoming event. I grabbed the dress and looked around for a little while longer to make sure I did not see anything else I would like to try on. No employees approached me while I was browsing the women's clothing section. I made my way to the dressing rooms and a female employee, her name was Jerry she told me (Not sure how to spell it.) This was on July 6, today. I asked her for a dressing room and she brought me to one with my spouse. I tried it on and it fit like a glove. I was sold but needed to look at shoes to match. My spouse and I made our ways towards the shoe section after I tried the dress on, I was carrying the dress in my arms. As we were walking towards the shoes, that same employee briskly followed us calling out hey. I turned around and she told me I need to hold the dress for you. I asked her why and she stated it was the policy. She was not very friendly about her approach and I felt offended. I have NEVER been asked this in any store. I have been asked however if I would like for the employee to hold my things while I shop, but I was asked, not demanded. If this is your policy then I have no right to be upset but I would like to see this in writing to verify. Otherwise, she was discriminating due to the fact that I appeared to be "too poor" for the store or she had some other bias or judgement towards me. Like I said I have never had this happen to me in any other store in International. I was not even able to take it to the shoe section which is in the same store, just one section over. What could I possibly do to the dress in the time it would have taken me to match it to some shoes that would require her to babysit my dress? If she had asked me "Would you like for me to hold the dress for you," I still would have said no thank you, because how am I supposed to match shoes to a dress without the dress? And saying take a picture with my phone is not acceptable because it's just not the same. And I use a flip phone anyway. Regardless, I felt offended, so offended I took my money elsewhere. Your store did not get a dime from me. I read something earlier that was a Neiman Marcus whistleblower of sorts and she said when you work there you are trained to ignore the people that appear like they aren't going to help you meet your quota for the day. That's gross. I find it super sad people judge people like that, because of what they look like or the way that they dress. I am a 38 year old woman that had to fight blood, sweat, and tears to be able to have the blessing of being able to even shop at a place like Neiman Marcus. I am usually a very frugal, modest woman when it comes to spending money. I prefer quality over brand. However, the lack of quality in the service or should I say lack of service today convinced me never to return. I also think it is mportant to note that the majority of the employees I saw working in this store were busy on their cellphones. One even was scrolling on her phone when she asked me if I needed any help. At least she asked me, she was...
Read moreI recommend never buying anything online from Neiman. One, they are going bankrupt (fact). Two, they make their return policy vague enough so they can reject refunds and exchanges of any and all products. It is so vague it seems they will take anything back which leads the client to feel comfortable buying online since they have so few stores because so many have closed. The client trusts, buys, receives product, needs to exchange or refund and Neiman REJECTS the refund. I purchased a perfume that gave me a headache. They refuse to take it back. Meanwhile all other stores are taking back everything including cosmetics because people are unable to use testers at stores due to COVID. I sprayed the perfume once. It’s completely full and packaged as I received it except for the plastic around the box. They could easily take it back and use it as a tester if they cannot resell it. They could give me a credit. But no. They offered to give me $30 for a perfume that costs $200. Ridiculous. I could understand and would agree if they had stated in their refund policy that no cosmetics or perfumes could be returned. They did it on purpose. They don’t care about the client. Conclusion: they will soon be out of business because clients don’t want to deal with companies that have no conscience or...
Read moreused to shop here all the time for quality goods, and every christmas for the past 9 years, i go in for table ware etc. However, i have to admit that over the past 3-4 years, the amount of times i called in was dropping off because there was just nothing in there that wasn't for someone over 70 years old!
I have bought few clothing items for my kids over the years, but the stock was always old and most of the time last season, so again, i started to buy online direct from the designer brands i wanted, so you can imagine my surprise today when i walked in, just to get through to the upper part of the mall, and saw that the childrens selection has been upgraded! My god, it was incredible! i felt like i was back in London with all the designer goods for the kids. Whoever had this bright idea, needs a pay rise! maybe from the almost $2000 i spent in there, which of course i was not planning to do, but the selection was out of this world! certainly not what we are used to in TAMPA!! Good job and brilliant idea, take this idea through the rest of the store and you will have many customers, like us with lots of ready cash, to buy from you! and anyone looking for designer clothing for their children, give this store a try, you will not be...
