I've never had a good experience at Morsani. I've been to three different departments there and every time the doctors and PAs were rushed, indifferent, and ultimately just prescribed medications to me without giving me a diagnosis for my issues. Contacting anyone at Morsani over the phone is a nightmare because you sit on hold forever, and they don't always return calls. I resorted to finding the doctor's email address through the USF directory and emailing the doctor because his nurse wouldn't call me back. He was annoyed, but it worked. I just sat on hold for 20 minutes with billing, and then was told that because my bill was "only" $100 they couldn't offer me any payment plans to help me pay it off, even though I'm a student and my part-time campus job didn't give me any hours over winter break, so I have no money to pay the bill with. It is just a huge institution and there's no room there for any heart toward patients. I definitely do not recommend going there. Edit: Ha, I just saw that the only other Google review I've done was about Morsani three years ago. Three years on and I still feel the same. (If you're wondering why I did return there this year, my insurance was limited and it was a choice between Morsani and the health...
Read moreStay far away from this cesspool of germs and viruses. Its the one place in the state where covid 19 is running rampant and out of control. They would not let me enter the building without first asking me personal medical information that is private. Then they asked me to wear a mask even though I am not sick and not worried about getting sick. Plus when I tried to enter anyway I was physically assaulted by a security guard like I was breaking the law. I have been to music festivals, movie theaters, concerts and on planes with no masks or screening. This unclean medical facility filled with so called doctors is less safe than all other venues in the state. People must be dying by the thousands here for it to be less safe than a concert with 60k unscreened and unmasked indivuals. No it is called discrimination. They are refusing to provide needed medical services to people without unneeded masks. discrimination. We will file a class action lawsuit to bring them to justice. Reach out to be included. They will pay for violation my...
Read moreI had a horrible experience through USF. How does a neurosurgeon tell you your brain tumor is back, when it was not. Not, I say because after 3 MRI'S only USF'S MRI states size and location. Other 2 facilities say no evidence of recurring tumor. Also, ask BEFORE surgery, your consent form (mine did) states a PORTION OF MAY BE DONE BY A RESIDENT, WITH SUPERVISING SURGEON. NOT the case with me. Residents only. Never saw either doctor during all my stays at hospital after surgeries. Who walks into your hospital room and says your tumor is back, I'm discharging you?????? 4 surgeries later, they planned a 5th, and 15 months still no tumor removal surgery. I have all my medical records. I even know the day they arrived from USF medical records. Brain tumor is mentioned all over them. I demanded a MRI from a facility OTHER then at USF, which caused surgery #4, then received a certified letter ( I did not sign for) I was FIRED as a patient. Head of Neuro, and head of Plastic surgery?? Who are...
