Booked my tour through Viator. Received a confirmation text from Viator with the address of the dock. Upon arriving at the address provided, I realized there was no parking. Not being familiar with the area, I called the number on my confirmation text. I was told that parking was 2 blocks away. By the time we found parking and walked the 2 blocks we had missed our tour. I later discovered an email sent at 8pm the night before (by the actual tour operator) with instructions for parking. I was not expecting an email as I had already received the confirmation text with an address. I emailed Viator requesting a way to either rebook the tour or get a refund, but I was denied. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. I then received an email from Viator threatening to send me to collections!! I'm sure the water taxi company is wonderful, all the reviews are great. However, due to their choice of using a third party to book their tours, I was never able to experience their service. To be threatened with collections for $60 was shocking. They literally could have offered a chance to rebook the trip and I would have been pleased. Unfortunately I was strong armed by an invisible company all while destroying the reputation of a locally owned business. Very sad. Because of Viator, Tampa Water Taxi will never get another dime...

Read all the reviews! So many stating how rude and unprofessional “manager/owner” is. You can see by his replies. I was lucky enough to experience it 1st hand. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!! Do not do business with them. Bought a Groupon while in town on vacation. VERY difficult to find due to no signage. Tour was at 2:00pm. Got there at 2:02pm. Called business to let them know we were there. Was basically told too bad, tour already left. They didn’t leave within 2 minutes. Filed dispute with Groupon. Groupon responded that they reached out to the merchant and that they didn’t know that we were there. If we had called they would’ve turned around and got us!! Are you kidding me?? I sent Groupon a screenshot of the phone call time stamped. I also called the business again and spoke to the “manager” which happens to be the same unprofessional person I spoke to originally. He was rude, nasty, and will not return our money. This place is a scam. I’ve been on many other boat tours in Florida and never have I had this type...
