I recently had the absolute pleasure of dining at Naked Farmer, and I can confidently say it’s a 5/5-star experience that I’ll be raving about for weeks. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, but what truly made my visit unforgettable was the exceptional service provided by a worker named Geno. Not only is Geno strikingly good-looking—seriously, he could be on a magazine cover—but his kindness and charisma elevated the entire meal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, but Geno’s presence turned a great meal into a standout memory. Let me tell you more about Geno because he’s the heart of this review. He greeted me with a genuine smile that instantly put me at ease, and his attentiveness throughout my visit was impeccable. He took the time to explain the menu, offering recommendations with such enthusiasm that you could tell he truly cares about the food and the customers. His good looks are impossible to ignore—tall, with a charming smile and an effortless confidence—but it’s his warmth and sincerity that make him stand out. Every interaction with him felt personal and thoughtful, like he was genuinely invested in making my day better. The food at Naked Farmer was phenomenal, with farm-fresh ingredients that burst with flavor in every bite. I had a seasonal bowl packed with roasted veggies, tender protein, and a sauce that tied it all together perfectly. But even as I savored each mouthful, I couldn’t help but notice how Geno moved through the restaurant, checking on tables with that same radiant energy. He’s the kind of person who makes you feel like you’re the only customer in the room, and his kindness is contagious—I saw him brighten everyone’s day, not just mine. What sets Naked Farmer apart isn’t just the quality of the food (though it’s outstanding) but the people like Geno who bring the place to life. He’s clearly passionate about his job, and it shows in the little details—like how he remembered my drink order without me having to repeat it or the way he checked in just enough to feel attentive without being overbearing. His good looks might catch your eye first, but it’s his down-to-earth personality and professionalism that leave a lasting impression. He’s the kind of worker who makes you want to come back, even if the food weren’t as incredible as it is. In short, Naked Farmer is a gem, and Geno is the crown jewel of the experience. The 5/5 stars I’m giving this place are as much for him as they are for the delicious, wholesome food. If you’re lucky enough to visit and have Geno assist you, you’ll leave with a full stomach and a smile, thanks to his kindness and charm. I’m already looking forward to my next trip back—not just for the amazing dishes, but for...

Edit: After speaking with the owner, I had family stop by and pick up some food. I got to try the steak, green beans and potatoes. I have to say that I really enjoyed it and my family did too. I’m glad I stuck to my gut to keep trying different things on the menu. As usual the portions were generous. This is a place to get high quality food that is worth the price. Especially in that area.

For transparency, I removed the server’s name because I did not get his permission to have his name on my review. And I also removed the time but not the date from the receipt.

My first experience was not great but the owner was gracious enough to reach out to me. I happen to be in the area again and my great experience with the owner solidified my intention to give this place a second try. I want to start by saying I used my own funds to pay just like my first trip here. The customer experience was vastly different from my last visit. The employees that attended to me were friendly and double checked before adding food to my bowl. When it came time to pay I was asked if I wanted a bag and cutlery was placed inside it before I had to ask. I did a BYOB to go as I did before and ordered farro as a base because I really liked it the last time. The same was true again and I’m glad that there appears to be consistency. I also ordered the chili garlic brussel sprouts as well. This time I tried new mains - the oyster mushroom mix and the Faroe Island salmon - and the sweet potatoes for the first time. I really enjoyed the sweet potatoes and both mains were cooked well and tasted good. Not amazing but pretty good. If you like sauce I’d say to order extra because the to go sauce comes in a small container. Another consistent thing about the place is the portion size. I noticed that my first time and it was true again my second time around. It can be a pricy place (depending on your main/protein) for lunch but I believe it is a great value and can be portioned out to 2 servings at least, even 3. And as a result I feel like it’s a great value for the price. Especially since a lot of the food seems to be locally sourced.

I sat outside to eat this time and it has ample seating. Additionally this location is situated in a good location to relax.

Overall, I am glad I came back to give it another go. If I’m in the neighborhood again, I’ll try and stop by. There are some other items I’d...

I am new to the area and I went to channel side locations for dinner. Great food! The next day I decided to go to the other location and ordered my food. A gentleman peaked out and told me that my food would be out momentarily. When it was ready he brought it to me. He thanked me for my business. I told him I had the food the night before and thought it was good so I wanted to try it again. He introduce himself (Shamar Mack). He asked me what location I had the night before and asked what did they do right and what needed improvement. I told him the food was amazing and the only complaint I had was when picking my food up there was a delay to get acknowledged. Shamar said thank you for taking the time to give my feedback and that is not what is strived for. He invited me back to see him at the Channel side location. I agreed and went today. Shamar came out from behind the kitchen area and greeted me and took the time to speak with me again. He greeted other customers and made them feel welcome.

Shamar Mack is the best example of someone you want working for you. He is so happy to be there, believes in the customers experience, and pays attention to the details for amazing experience.

Promote Shamar, use his passion to train and help others learn from the standard. Truly an amazing person, sous chef, and employee. I was simply amazed he took the time to ask me about my experience and the level of customer service he provides. You just don’t see that today.

Shamar, thank you! Keep up the fantastic work, amazing spirit, and the positive energy you place...

My first time having food delivered from this restaurant, and I think maybe I should have eaten in instead of delivery? When the driver handed me my bag, it felt like there was almost no food in the bag and I looked and saw 2 containers that were so small I thought I had the wrong order, even told the driver - this is not what I ordered. Then I took it out to look, and yes that is what I ordered, just SMALL. The chicken was okay, gave the chicken skin to my cat, which she loved. But the sauces were ridiculously small and not full. And if I had not had a nice big bed of fresh kale to but under the rosemary chicken and the winter spiced farro, I would have been super disappointed with the portion size. But I loved the farro; it had a nice al dente kind of texture that I loved. 69 cents a piece for tiny half filled sauces was not cool. I will only try again if I am eating in and hope for a better experience. It was tasty. Pictures show the sauces and the containers next to a can of veggies to show size. Once I combined it with kale it was a decent portion that I enjoyed. I think if you order more you would be happier, it's just those 2 things, chicken and farro cost me $19 to have delivered (with four mini sauces at 69 cents each) and 2 dollar tip.
