The rooms are decent, the pool is alright, the fitness center is good for a hotel, and the location is great. However all of these things are overshadowed by the smell of the lobby, the inconsistent breakfast quality, the allergy inducing rooms, the lack of self parking, and the rude staff.||Our trip started off with us arriving and being forced to valet park for $45 a night. When I asked about alternatives, they basically said it'd be a hassle to park elsewhere and it'd only save us about $20. Valet did let me go inside to check-in but did not allow me to take my bags out of the car unless I paid for valet. The smell of the lobby hit me immediately. It smells like a bathroom; sometimes a recently cleaned bathroom, sometimes a bathroom where you can smell the bad tacos that someone just expelled. Really spoils your appetite. Most of the staff were nice but the person who checked me in was very rude and lied to me about my flower delivery. I called ahead a few days to ensure they could deliver flowers to my room to surprise my partner for our anniversary. They ensured me it wouldn't be an issue. I asked the lady checking me in if my flowers had been delivered to my room and she said they were. When I went upstairs and was unable to find them, I went back downstairs and let them know that the flowers were not in my room. She goes, "well did you check with the flower company". I informed her that they had in fact been marked as delivered. She then checks and realizes that the flowers directly behind her are the flowers and hands them to me. No apologies or anything.||The room itself is pretty slick and modern with a good tv (device mirroring available) and lots of ports and outlets for charging. The bed was comfy as well. The bathroom while nice looking, had no hooks for hanging clothes and has timed motion lights (will go out if you shower for "too long"). The shower pipes are unreasonably loud and while the pressure and temperature are fantastic, the steam that it produces in conjunction with the bathroom make your nose runny for hours afterwards, sometimes days. Lots of sneezing and blowing noses after showers, even short showers. Luckily, the side effects dissipate after some time but seemingly get worse with each subsequent shower.||Lastly, while I appreciate the free breakfast, it was very inconsistent. The eggs were unintentionally different everyday, they would run out of juice, silverware, serving spoons, creamer, etc. The waffles and french toast are atrocious but the pancakes were surprisingly delicious. Trouble is, you don't know which ones they are making that day or if you simply missed the first and only batch. Their continental breakfast could really be great with a few minor tweaks (make your own waffles, consistent egg quality, pancakes everyday, refill/restock items, cinnamon). Also, shout out to the king that was hustling to keep the tables cleared and the food and utensils stocked by himself. Most days had adequate staffing but one day they just left him alone. ||All that being said, while the location was perfect for our stay, we will not be staying here again. We'd definitely recommend checking out some of the other hotels nearby as there are plenty of others that I am sure would provide a much better stay with an equal or...
