I had antique, Art Deco, opal ring with a chip and I knew from looking at Emily Ruffin’s designs that she was the only one I wanted to work on it. I sent it to her along with some other sentimental pieces to repair: a ring with sapphires and a ring with emeralds and diamonds. Emily explained everything to me very clearly about what she was going to do to fix the rings. Emily’s staff helped me with the shipping, which is a special process for insurance and safety. Everything worked beautifully, and as I imagined, the work was impeccable. I am now enjoying wearing my rings again and I feel safe knowing the stones are all secure. Plus, they look so pretty. I tried to visit coming all the way from Austin, Texas this weekend after looking forward to getting a new wedding ring for half of the year. My husband and I arrived around 30 minutes before close and had planned our travel around visiting this particular Taos jewelry shop in time for visiting family for Christmas.
