My son went there with his friends to shop. He swiped his debit card, the cashier told him it declined. She then told my son to swipe the card again, this time for a higher amount, and it declined. My son left there with no product. I watched his debit card statement, both charges said pending. Later on that day, first charge said posted, second charge dropped off. I called Spencer’s, told them what happened I was told to wait until Tuesday and the bank should reverse the charge. I call back Tuesday and I am told to wait until midnight. I call back Wednesday and I am told “some banks take longer than others”. It’s now Friday and I call again, the lady said “it’s a bank issue, not us!”. I call my bank, they verify that the money was definitely taken from my son’s account, as a valid purchase. So now I have to dispute this charge. This is absolutely ridiculous!!! How sad to steal money from a child, what kind of company is this. What blows my mind too, is I called so many times and not once was I asked any information regarding the charge to look into it. Just “oh well it’s your banks fault!”. Definitely won’t be shopping...
Read moreOn July 13 I attempted to purchase something for $154, my card didn't go through for the full amount I asked the manager if they will Accept the balance with another card, I was told no I can't, I was given a voided receipt. Two days later I see a charge of $73 on my credit card. I called the corporate office, they asked me for all kind of proof to provide them with to get to the root of the issue. All what I wanted for them to give me back what they stole from my account. I gave them all the information they needed via email, I was promised by email that I will have my money back on my card. It has been over a month I don't have my money. What a freaking ripoff of a company!!! S&@$ of a company not only the Temecula store but the whole company! I ask if everyone to avoid this...
