Love Skin Holistic Medical Spa — Local services in Tempe

I thought long and hard about writing this review and have sat with it for over a month on debating if I should write it or not.

Ultimately I decided as someone who works in this type of industry to write this review to possibly help someone else who might be navigating the task of finding a quality spa that is worth the dollar amount to go to for treatment.

I purchased a peel from love skin holistic med spa in April. Although the peel itself was an okay I was given a lot of miss-information from the staff at the time of booking as well as not told about fallow up procedures and had to remind my Facialist of said fallow up procedure when I came in to get 3-D imaging done. The staff here are a bit unprofessional and the price I paid for the peel didn’t reflect quality of service.

When I booked the peel I was told I would receive a massage facial before hand..

I was also told I would do 3D imaging and receive a free gift of mini facial products to try out the same day.

When I came in and tried to discuss this with the Facialist she told me that I had been misinformed and that she had no time for those things.

After the peel she just told me to wear sunscreen, set me up for another day to do the 3D imaging and sent me on my way.

It was not until I called in apologizing for missing the 3D appointment due to physical therapy for an injury and inquiring about red bumps on my face from the peel that she told me that a part of the package for the peel was a soothing mask…. I would not have know this information at all if I didn’t ask about the bumps.

She kindly had time for me later that day to come in for the aftercare mask and the 3D imaging, but after I did the 3D imaging she tried to send me on my way and I had to remind her about the soothing mask. The whole experience felt really unprofessional and like she was relating to me as an acquaintance rather than a paying client.

Also, she did not do any extractions with the soothing mask which is something I overheard her set the expectation for with another guest who got the pleasure of accurate information of what to expected with aftercare.

Honestly my experience of the expectations that were set, unprofessionalism, Quality of service and unorganization of this office don’t nearly equate to what I paid for the service.

That being said it was not a terrible experience, it was just not something that I felt comfortable paying for not will...

I saw Diana and she was amazing! From setting my appt to the end, very friendly service! I LOVE their accomadating hours that worked with my schedule and being able to text and email freely was ideal since it is hard to get a hold of me. I went in for Microneedling for the first time and she walked me through everything. First I got comfy in their cute individual room, and she laid numbing cream on me. She gave me some good advice for maintaining my skin conditions and we started the process. My face was feeling hot by the end of it (which is expected) but she did a nice cool chamomile face mask that helped soothe my skin oh so nice! She gave me samples of products to try at home with my booklet of post care and signed me up easy peasy to pay with CareCredit. My skin already feels and looks smooth, and my fine lines aren't noticeable. Overall it was a great experience and I loved the feng shui of their practice! I recently returned to this wonderful skin care spa after trying a different esthetician. Diana and her staff are wonderful and the menu of offerings make this a one stop spot for all your skin care needs. In July I started using her private label skin care regimen she recommended for my needs, and I can say I have seen a great improvement in my perimenopausal skin.
