DXL Big + Tall — Local services in Tigard

I'm posting this not as somebody who has visited the store but as somebody who has received customer service over the phone.

I was looking for a pair of pants and I've been having problems finding pants in my size so I called this store. I made this call between 1:40 to 1:45 PST today Wednesday.

Because of the customer service that I received on the phone I will be visiting the store. The agent or representative that I spoke to from the store was extremely positive, upbeat and helpful.

I explained to her that I've been losing weight and that I don't normally buy clothes at this size because I'm not going to be this size forever. I did this because I'm used to having or hearing judgment in people's voices.

I did not get any hint of judgment from this representative. Like I said she was super positive and helpful.

This is exactly the type of people I love dealing with. So whoever her boss is should really promote her next time promotions come up.

First of all, let me say I was helped immediately, almost like I had a personal shopper and I found a suitable outfit for a big interview. I was, however, disappointed that my 6’5”, 305lb size was under represented in the size selections. I was able to find one pair of khakis, two shirts that sort of matched my vision, and four belts to fit my 46 inch waist. I was even told by the store attendant that I probably wasn’t big enough to be fully satisfied by their selection, which I found disheartening because I can’t find the right stuff at regular stores, either. Maybe that’s just where I fit into the scheme of things ;( I spent just a little more than I had hoped to, but still felt I got a good deal. Again, good service and I got what I needed. My husband and kids decided to go into this store to look around as my husband needed a gift for his brothers upcoming birthday but as soon as they walked in the door the salesperson ( a man) asked them what they were looking for when my husband said he just wanted to look around the man said they would not be finding anything in that store that would fit them. My husband is not confrontational and decided to just walk out of the store without looking around. The salesperson's job is to give good customer service and sell items not make assumptions. My husband was well aware this was a big and tall store we looked for this type of store for him to be able to shop for his brother but did not expect this type of service and...
