*Read additional reviews before ordering from here - Their order accurate is egregious & they may not have food you ordered/paid for ....good luck getting reimbursed! *
10/14/2024 Update - Reducing overall rating from 2 stars to 1. They did not inform me that half of our order would not be ready when I checked in. I found out 10 minutes later when attempting to pick up the food. Food rating has been reduced drastically since you cannot rate a dish if you do not receive it.
Absolutely zero soup available at 11:25am. They offered to reimburse the portion that was missing but as an office order, I did not have the office credit card on hand. They offered to have a manager contact me in order to work out the reimbursement but I have not heard a thing from anyone. They did not even get the number of chips/baguettes correct on our partial order - for three people: 2 - You Pick Two Meals & 1 Bowl of Soup - That should have been two bags of chips and one baguette.
Friendly staff but their organization and follow through are extremely lacking. We really wanted to order from here again but, yet again, they have failed to provide the bare minimum of service/food. I do not recall the last time we received an order that was even close to accurate.
I no longer recommend this place for dine in nor pick up. We will not order from here again for a good long time, if ever. This is a shame since we used to submit large orders for our office several times a month.
3/4/2024 Update - Reducing overall rating from 4 stars to 2.
We have so many issues with the accuracy of orders from this Panera. We stopped ordering from here when there are more than a handful of people on staff, in an attempt to minimize the order issues - smaller orders, make it easier to keep things straight, right? Unfortunately, this is not true. When we order for 2 or 3 people, there is inevitably one (or more) missing dishes.
Staff is always very nice when we call with issues but if you need a confirmation of the reimbursement, the process includes calling a separate number to request it, after listening to a droning IVR. It also includes having someone drive to the location to pick up missing items, which negates the convenience of having food delivered.
Food is good, except for their pizza and pizza baguette sandwiches.
I recommend this location for dine in or in person pickup only. The accuracy of our delivery meals is 20% and has been a waste of time and money wasted calling people to rectify order discrepancies, arrange for someone to pickup missing items and asking for a receipt for reimbursement.
My office orders from here frequently. We love their soups and their Pick Two order option. Today Trenton went above and beyond to assist us & we really...
Read morePANERA BREAD - doesn’t quite cut the cake.
I have been a Panera client for many years. Starting in Denver, now here in Portland. As a rule they have tasty and fresh food. It’s nice to get a good sized, fresh salad that’s not the same old thing.
There issue is with employee training and processes.
It had been pretty common in Denver that an on-line or phone order would be filled with something missing or something wrong. I finally figured out it was better to go in person and watch as the order was filled.
The company seems to highly value the on-line experience, since now you can order on-line IN the lobby of the store. In Portland I have YET to place an on-line order where I actually received everything as I ordered it. Something is always missing, out of stock or not available. I have one store across the street from the office and two on the way home. I have ordered from each.
They have the capability of listing on-line when they are out of something - and sometimes they do, but usually not. It surprises me when they list so MANY things out of stock in the meddle of the day. I get not wanting left-overs that you can’t sell, but if you are a store with a menu, you ought to have the things on your menu.
The idea of a ‘quick pick-up’ is an excellent corporate concept, but if it can’t be handled by the associates in the stores, it just makes you look incompetent. The associates are well versed at “I’m Sorry”. This has been a recurring issue over the last 2 years, and I have talked to many managers and have several free food coupons. Still, nothing changes.
Sorry to say I have been apologized to once too many time and have taken Panera Bread off of my ‘go-to’ list. It just isn’t worth the...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I have been battling a cold for the past week. A soup and sandwich sounded perfect. Came here at around 7pm and ordered the bacon/tomato grilled cheese and tomato soup. The sandwich was good, but honestly not worth 11 dollars, maybe 3. 2 pieces of bacon, 2 pieces of bread, some cheese and a couple of small tomatoes. I could have made a better sandwich at home. The tomato soup was just not good, borderline gross. Campbell's tomato soup in a can is better for less than a dollar. We tried calling the order in but no one answered. So I drove there assuming they could have the order made quickly. Took over 20 minutes to get my food made and there was only 1 small order in front of me. The employees seemed dysfunctional and borderline incompetent. One of the servers kept talking to the cooks about anime or something like it. I would hate to see how long it would take if they were busy. Had I known it was going to take 20 minutes to get my order I would have just made it myself at home. I must have ordered the wrong thing as they seem to always be busy and their other food must be...
