Topeka customers watch your accounts Kohl's has a security breach!! I have always enjoyed shopping here. Great deals, and friendly employees. That is until my parents were charged for 1k+ worth of stuff they never ordered that was shipped to them and they had no idea until it showed up at the door. No problem right, kohls is good about these things. They called and were assured that they would be refunded if they bring in the items. So my dad went to this store with the packages still unopened and was informed he wouldn't get the full refund because the kohls cash was "already spent." In fact this employee accused my dad of stealing, even though they had called and were assured it woul be refunded as they never ordered any of it!! More importantly come to find out you can send the kohls cash to a different email address than what's on file. So the scammers spent the kohls cash and Kohl's was refusing to refund it when they even knew they had a breach. How did they know you ask? There was another person at the store who had the same thing happen to them! Watch your email for orders you haven't placed everyone!! I am disgusted at this and I might add my parents have been with kohls for over 10 years. I have been a customer for over 5!! Read moreI made 3 orders online, and despite the "hassle-free" returns, and my having returned nearly everything from all 3 purchases, part of my return was made in Kohls Cash instead of the cash I used to make the purchases. Why, I have no idea. I questioned this at the time of the return, came home and did the math, and went back to the store to find out why I was shorted $32.25 on my refund. The only thing the store can tell me is that they turned my cash into Kohls cash with an expiration date because I had used the Kohls Cash - despite my having RETURNED everything from that order. I kept NONE of that order. And NO ONE can explain why my $30 used Kohl's Cash somehow transformed into $40 as a return. Calling online Customer Support only confused those employees as they have no idea why my cash was not returned as CASH. As I STILL haven't got this issue resolved with 2 store trips and 2 phone calls, I will be going back to the store to return EVERYTHING from my purchases and see if they decide to keep MORE of my money. And then I will NEVER be purchasing from Kohls again, and I will tell EVERYONE I KNOW (and social media) about this experience, and why they too should never shop at Kohls, and specifically, the Topeka...
Read moreI cannot believe how long I was made to wait to return one item. At the first register, the customer service lady got swamped with customer returning & buying numerous items, using coupons both paper ones & on her phone then she couldn’t pay for them and she started trying to locate I presume husband.
Meanwhile, another employee who appeared to be a supervisor, I think was helping a couple and refused to help me when I told him I had a return. It would have taken him only a minute or two to assist me before walking away to do an interview.
Almost twenty minutes later, customer lady still standing there trying to locate husband and I finally tell customer service associate to please do my return and she did at another register.
Why wasn’t customer told to go buy her items at the register up front? Especially when other customers are waiting in line?
When sup saw associate bogged down with customer, he should have jumped in to help.
Why wasn’t another employee at second register? There has always been one...
