Geek Squad — Local services in Town of Amherst

My father in-law brought in his Toshiba laptop that had a virus on it. Here are the agency notes " Has BIOS password cannot reset it motherboard needs to be repaired. approx $240 + labor and may take longer to get part as it is not a model we carry". I did a simple google search of the make and model and added bios virus....guess what i found on the second link....a back door password to bios. I'm formatting and reinstalling windows as I write this review. This geek squad location is a disgrace trying to get over on older people. You all should be ashamed of your selves and maybe you need to hire real geeks that actually know how to...

Order TV on line yesterday and today we picked up as instructed. Today was in line for curbside pick up and it was not organized. We sat in line at curbside and it was about 15 minutes before some one came to car and asked about our order and people behind were getting their orders. I’m in favor of curbside pick up but it should be organized and the people who are working curbside could be a little pleasant.

The store has a great variety and knowledgeable employees. The only thing that bothers me is when you call to set up an appointment and they tell you, you are covered under the protection plan. Really you are not! Once you get there the people are like no this isn't covered. You wasted your time and their time. It's very frustrating! Not to mention nothing is basically covered...
