Not my favorite place for ice cream in East Aurora but the charm of ice cream out of a caboose plus the opportunity to use the ride on trains for my son are what has brought us back. However, this year (2024) things are not great. Ice cream is half melted, servings are small, and the service is nothing to rave about. When mentioning to the young man who brought my ice cream that I thought I had asked for it in a dish (so as to not take someone else's ice cream), he put the ice cream cone in a dish, pulled off the cone and threw it out (with half of the ice cream in it). I don't know why he thought that was the best plan as normally people would just put the ice cream in a dish with the cone. Hope things improve as more training/experience is achieved with the staff, but we'll probably walk a bit farther to enjoy our ice...

Anyway, after this experience I will not go back. For around the same price I could get amazing handcrafted ice cream at Rosie's on Main Street. Boy, I wish I...
