STAY AWAY FROM SOFABED ETC & JEFF G THE OWNER IN FARMINGDALE NY. If I didn't have to give any stars I wouldn't. I ordered sofa's back in APRIL 21, 2017 so I could have my sofa bed before JUNE 29th 2017 for my family coming from out of town JUNE 30th 2017. The ONLY reason I ordered the sofa is because I was told they come apart and can be built in my apartment because I knew it wouldn't fit up my stairs. The delivery company came in JUNE 25th, The sofa was NOT taken apart and didn't fit up my stairs. We called Jeff and asked WHY it wasn't taken apart because it doesn't fit. He then said the company needs to take the sofa back so it can be taken apart and redelivered on ANOTHER day and I would have to pay $200 which I was never told about when I placed my order. So It was rescheduled to JUNE 30th the day my family was flying in. June 30th came and the sofa was delivered the SAME way it was the first time. So it DIDN'T FIT, now I have family over and NO where to sleep which I explained to him. I called JEFF, He said there is nothing I can do the sofa has to be taken back and reschedule AGAIN. My dad went to the store and JEFF said " Oh it's for real you have people flying in, because people lie about that all time". Jeff called me 3 TIMES, and said he can't have my sofa until JULY 7th. So JEFF said it would be free of charge to put it together not once but TWICE in our conversations and he even offered for me to buy a blow up bed for $40 and he would reimburse me. So now my sofa is scheduled to be delivered and put together on JULY 7TH, 2017 after my family as left (11 weeks since I placed my order). The guy puts my sofa together and asked for the $200. I told him JEFF said it was free. I called JEFF, He told me he would have NEVER said that and I should SWEAR on my dad that he said that because I am trying to play games with him. When I said i would swear because he was freaking lying and I said I wish I had him recorded he said it will be taken care of and hung up on me. If you ever have a conversation with him make sure its recorded or written on poaper with his signature because he is a LIAR!!!! *Needless to say JEFF G is nice until he gets your money then he is a nasty, rude, disgusting, arrogant person. I didn't want to believe the negative reviews but we learned the hard way that they're correct. Jeff was friendly and made sure we chose the sofa-bed that was right for us. We made the purchase in full and prepared to wait the 6 weeks for our scheduled delivery. However, that's where the friendliness and professionalism ended. Once he had our money, Jeff rescheduled on us several times, always blaming the manufacturer or the numerous shipping providers. His demeanor was rude and arrogant. When we asked for a refund after his third time telling us the delivery had to be rescheduled, he outright refused. He didn't even offer a partial refund or refund of the shipping charge. Jeff puts no value on the customer's time. He actually said that our concerns were invalid and then went off on some crazed rant that I'm sure he wouldn't want us to specify here. Regardless, we had to rearrange our work schedule a third time because unfortunately, the law is on his side once he has the customer's money and he knows this. I stopped here on a whim while couch shopping with my boyfriend for our new apartment. We were working with very limited space - and we found the perfect sized couch. It was called "apartment sized" Jeff and his sales person were great. Only after paying for the order in full and getting home did I think to check the reviews, and after I did I was TERRIFIED that I was never going to get this couch, that was 10 weeks ago.

I waited 6 full weeks to call and check on the status of the order and was told it was "just completed" and we picked a delivery date for the Friday of the following week (it was Tuesday). After that delivery was delayed because of the blizzard, (which was not on them, weather happens) the couch was delivered today, 5 days later.

If you are going to shop here, just be cautious. I spent the last 10 weeks a nervous wreck over this dumb couch, it literally kept me up at night. We spent the first 10 weeks in our apartment sitting on beach chairs. I did receive my order but it was no where near the 4-6 week time frame they give you. I would give them 8 - 12...
