Love the brand. Not this store. Stick to online ordering.

I have visited this store several times and each time experienced discrimination.

This past visit is definitely was my last. I went in and had quite a few items I wanted to try on (because I was going to defiantly BUY more than half of what I was going to try on: only because some sizing may be too big/small) An employee approached me asking me if I was okay, and made a comment saying “OH BOY, your going to try ALL this on?” I said “yes ma’am, plus I actually ordered a ton, so I can’t get enough!”:::trying to be friendly, and the employee responded “Ah-huh- okay so do you need a dressing room? Should I set you up with one?”

I gave her my name, and off she went.

Not even a full minute into the dressing room- because May I mention I wanted to keep browsing, and did advise the employee.. I am in the dressing room and HEAR the employee say out loud…

Uuugh-she’s still in there!?!?! And sigh.

I stuck my head out of the dressing room to let her know I literally just got in. And the employee got nervous and didn’t have anything to say- only “oh-ummm-let me know if you need anything” And ran out of the dressing room area.

She avoided me after the fact. But most definitely made me feel insecure and honestly Left the worst taste

I have NEVER experienced discrimination. Even shopping at competitor brands or even at Exclusive and high end stores.

If this is a reflection of their management and culture, I don’t know supporting such brand and store...

I cannot say enough good things about this store. I wanted to place a large order and Frankie was absolutely amazing. He took care of everything and explained in detail everything that was going to be delivered. Whilst I was in the store I watched him interact with customers and he really is such an asset to the company. There was a blonde manager (can’t remember her name) there too who was also amazing. I just went back to exchange some sizes, I was worried because Frankie wasn’t there but Nadia helped me and she was so nice and helpful. I teach Pilates and coach gymnastics and have wore Lululemon for a long time, I love the Athleta clothing and just how nice and helpful the staff are in this store I will definitely be returning as a...

So excited to review the recently opened Athleta store at SmithHaven in Lake Grove. This store is beautiful, organized, super clean and has instantly become one of my favorites - the staff is very friendly and offers top notch customer service. As a self-proclaimed LuLu person, I assumed I wouldn't be as impressed by Athleta. But I was more than pleasantly surprised and can attest to the high quality of this activewear brand. Most impressive is the brand's size and height inclusivity, offering an array of sizes in its sports bras and other workout gear. Free alterations and B Corp certification are just two more reasons why this brand is worth...
