The manger is literally sooo racist it’s disgusting like I returned smug because my husband brought it I returned it all you need is the receipt & debit card you used to pay with I had when she seen me a young African American women which is a rapper celebrity having big following ! She looked at me up and down like you payed “ 600 “ for this & looked at my receipt and asked me for my id ! To match the debit card when you do not need that when you have a receipt she said my card didn’t match my id so she can’t return it which is not the policy !!! Then she told me I had to Apple Pay my card !! & I can’t use my own husband card saying that’s fraud ! Never in my life returning at homegoods did they ask me for a id She was bias towards me because of my skin I was so disturbed I felt uncomfortable even shopping because she called a male worker to the door . I was in retail..i get it..but to be stuck on a line waiting for 2 registers when only 1 is working..and the person running that reg is talking to an associate.who is done woth his shift and going home..while i wait is absolutely annoying. The manager should have adjusted, instead of playing stupid. And before she complains: I have over 8 years in retail and mgmt. Old and new exp.
