Men's Wearhouse — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

Complete waste of time! I ignored the bad reviews and figured I would give them a try for my wedding tuxedo rentals. We had a 1 pm appointment and they are very unorganized in the store, we felt rushed and awkward. Everyone got fitted one at a time and then we stood around for 20 minutes waiting to be rung up individually for each groomsmen. They told us the groom qualified for a $400 store credit with the 3 rentals plus his groom rental. The prices of the Tuxedo rentals were a bit higher than the norm but we all said it’s ok with the $400 deal. After we left the store we received a phone call that we actually don’t qualify for the deal and it has been revoked because we need one more rental. Even though it was THEIR fault, it’s now our problem. We would like a refund on everyone’s deposits to go somewhere else and not get ripped off. Unfortunately now every guy has to go back in on their own time again to get their deposit and we have to all coordinate another appointment and time when we can all go to a Fitting at a new store and do the process all over. In mid-December, I purchased and got a tuxedo shirt tailored at a Men's Wearhouse in the city for my wedding. The tailored fit was great and I took it home.

But when I was trying on my whole tux outfit a week before my wedding I realized the seams of the alterations had loose threads running throughout the whole seam! (I was concentrated on the fit and the threads must have blended in at the store!) I realize this in Long Island on Christmas Day and had to wait till the next day to call to resolve the problem. I called the original store in the city on Saturday and they said any local LI store could help. I called multiple stores on LI and none had a tailor until Monday.

All the LI stores were professional and really courteous, but John, the manager, at this location was the best! He was super helpful, assured me they would get the job done right, and seemed to understand the importance of providing excellent customer service when it really matters!

My shirt was fixed and the wedding went smoothly! If I lived in LI, this would be the only Men's Wearhouse I would patron! Thanks to John...

A big thank you to Franky for going above and beyond to make it a pleasant experience. I came in with my partner to get his shirt tailored from earlier this year that turned out wrong. We never got the chance to come in again since covid. Franky was extremely nice, quick and helpful to get us new shirt and measured to make sure the tailor gets it right this time. However, I came in today to pick it up and Franky quickly noticed it wasn't done right again, and assured me it would be ready within a few hours. Long story short, it started snowing and Franky ended up dropping it off to my home after his shift due to the inconvenience. He exceeded my customer service expectations on another level. Although the tailor messed up like three times, we would still go back just for Franky. We look forward to going back soon to buy a custom suit from him. If Franky isn't already the manager, he needs to be promoted ASAP. Now this is amazing...
