Big praise for Toronto’s Tuxedo on route 25A in Mount Sinai! Toronto’s Tuxedos really helped out with a very uncomfortable situation and I’m very grateful. Five stars for Toronto’s Tuxedos. This is the story….There are two Tuxedo stores within about a 2 mile radius of each other on route 25A in Mount Sinai/Miller Place. I originally placed an order for two tuxedos at the other store in Miller Place. I probably should have walked out of the other store when I went there originally to order the tuxedos as it was an absolute filthy mess with piles of clothes all over the floor and in total disarray. But since the store has been there for 15+ years, I figured it must be OK and ultimately placed an order for the two tuxedos I needed. The price was $250 for each Tuxedo, I paid in full for one and we agreed I would pay the balance when I pick them up. The man was nice enough during the sales part of the process, but things completely changed when it was time to follow up for pick up and fitting. Somewhere along the way I misplaced the receipts. Not ideal, but I had the copies and knew he had the originals. I also had proof of payment through my Venmo account. I placed this order about six weeks before the event. I called on the day he told me to follow up to see if they were in and he said, verbatim, he was too busy to talk to me and to call back. I called back the following day and apologize for not having my receipts available to give him the ticket numbers and that’s when the man went nuts. He chastised me, yelled in raised voice, talked over me, and totally lost his cool that I did not have my ticket numbers. I apologize for making it harder on him and that he had to look up my order by my last name, but that was not good enough. I was keeping my cool because it was five days before the event and with the way this guy was behaving, I didn’t want him to do anything to prevent me from getting the tuxedos. He told me I would have to call back again to see if they had arrived. I was in shock at how he handled my call and extremely furious. After the way this man behaved I didn’t want to call him back. I didn’t want to step foot into his store to pick up the tuxedos, and I certainly didn’t want to spend one more penny with him. I knew I was potentially going to lose $250 but I decided to call Toronto’s Tuxedos and told them what had just happened and to see if I could order the two tuxedos from them. At this point, I didn’t care about losing the $250. I did not want to set foot in that man’s store because he is volatile and unhinged. Although Toronto’s was back to back with appointments, they squeezed me in immediately, and I had two more tuxedos ordered and ready to arrive two days before the event and at Toronto’s Tuxedo they were $210 a piece versus $250 at the other place. I highly recommend Toronto’s tuxedos. The store is neat and clean, the sales person Jenna was patient and a pleasure to work with, the selection is terrific, and the prices were right. Vinny, Alicia and the team at Toronto’s Tuxedos were incredible for our big wedding day! A lot of time, effort and money went into our wedding and we trusted this team and they were perfect! My indigo tux and ivory shirt/tie was the style I was looking for on my big day. My wife was so happy with the way I looked. My 7 groomsmen were also so happy with how they looked. Navy blue and light blue combination was such a nice look at our summer mansion wedding. Vinny and his team took their time to make sure we got what we wanted, and gave their expert advice as to what color combinations are attractive. They were so flexible and gave us the freedom when it came to stopping in for measurements and overall communication. Oh and it was so affordable!! Much better pricing than men’s warehouse! I was cool and calm on my wedding day knowing that Vinny and his team were professionals and had done this so many times before. The owner, Vinny was amazing to work with! He literally saved my fiancé from the disaster suit for our wedding that he purchased from Mens warehouse (we should have known better) with less than a month before our wedding, AFTER alterations my fiances tux jacket was too tight, pants too short and wasnt even cleaned before giving it to him for our wedding. We went to Torontos tuxedos where Vinny was so professional and confident. He calmed us down and assured us he could order us the same style and fitted it properly.
