Fat Boy’s Burrito Co. — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I placed a +$100 order last thursday online that i picked up. There was one large bag and one smaller bag that was labeled dessert, each bag was packaged and stapled so i did not feel the need to open the bags to check that all items were correct but i should have; we also got 2 sangrias. We were celebrating my sisters birthday so i was really looking forward to the tres leches cake that was on the menu. I opened the large bag to find that my nieces taco was missing, so i checked the bag that was labeled dessert to find my nieces taco (that was missing the pineapple topping) as well as the cinnamon sugar nacho dessert but no tres leches cake. I called the restaurant right away to let them know that the tres leches cake was missing and the shrimp taco was nothing but 4 shrimp on a tortilla. The man that i spoke with over the phone did not even apologize for the mistake instead he seemed annoyed that i was even bothering to call and let them know. He asked if i wanted to come back to get it which of course i did not want to do because the restaurant was not that close to where my sisters house was. He reluctantly then asked if i would like a refund or if i would like a store credit to which i stated that i would prefer a refund. He said “okay my staff will do it a little later.” It is now a week later and i never received my refund, and when i called the store to speak with a manager today I was told “call back later the manager isnt available right now.” Clearly fatboys does not care about customer satisfaction, i feel like i wasted money that could have went to a deserving small business owner with quality food. We ordered 2 crunchwraps that were mediocre to put it nicely- they contained romaine lettuce that was wilted and disgusting. My girlfriend got a burrito bowl that was missing the salsa verde that was suppose to come with it so it was completely dry. The steak nachos were decent but nothing to get excited over, and my nieces shrimp taco was not only pathetic looking but the shrimp was tasteless. We also got 2 sangrias that tasted like cheap wine you would find at a grocery store. I never write reviews like this but ive also never had such a poor experience before at a place that i was so excited to try at this location, i have had fat boys once before at their bellmore location which i enjoyed. Dont waste your money instead eat at any of the other restaurants on main street you will be way...

Our experience was absolutely fantastic, with incredible service and outstanding food. We tried so many delicious items, starting with their vibrant margaritas.

The Jolly Rancher Margarita was an unforgettable treat—a must-try for sure! We also loved the Tropical Margarita with mango and citrus, bursting with fresh, tangy flavors.

To kick off the meal, we had the CBR Empanadas—stuffed with chicken, bacon, and ranch. They were savory, rich, and left us wanting more! The Steak Chimi Taco was a personal favorite; the crispy shell and perfectly cooked steak were simply amazing.

Then came the Fat Texas Burritos, which are a must-try. These burritos are packed with flavor and really deliver on everything you’d expect and more.

We couldn’t resist the Crispy Crisp Bowl either. The shrimp paired with the sriracha sauce created a sensational flavor explosion—such a unique and bold dish!

The new Cheetodilla was to die for—definitely one of my absolute favorites! It’s such a unique and authentic dish that everyone needs to try.

Buffalo Chicken Cheesy Fries also made the list of must-tries, with that irresistible mix of heat and cheese.

For dessert, we indulged in the Fat Boys Chinna Chips, crispy and served with Nutella for dipping. Every bite was pure indulgence!

This place was amazing!!! The staff was so so friendly and helpful and patient when I was ordered.I think the food is fair.. if not avg priced.You get a lot of meat in the tacos and empanadas.i had 2- Chicken bacon ranch empanada and 2- Korean steak tacos ..WOW so so delicious!! Meat was so tender and flavorful.I was so full I couldn't eat the 2nd empanada. I will be back again an I'll post pictures next time! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!!! Don't leave without trying the empanadas!! * The store is handicap friendly.. you can get a power wheelchair in the store with no problem.. plenty of room to sit and eat inside as well. I am going to edit my review as of 12/15 They have to do something about the flies and the fruit flies in there. It's horrendous . I can't sit there with my friend and have a conversation because we're both swatting. Fruit flies and flies. I don't even know what they are flying things that were landing near our food. It's kind of disgusting to be honest. And very obnoxious. I couldn't have a conversation with my friend without sitting there swatting the flies away. This is December. There is no reason there should be any kind of flies unless it's dirty. Maybe I'll try...
