I just want to let every customer who shops at Burlington know you DO NOT have to get your refund on a gift card....if you purchase any items from Burlington coat factory and you still have your receipt and the merchandise is still intact and unopened before 30 days you can take it back to any location and receive your money back as it was paid for example if you pay by check the money will be refunded back into your account if you were paid by a debit card you will receive cash back this rule also applies for any layaway that has been successfully purchased or any merchandise of Burlington that has been returned unopened and undamage before 30 days if you return it without a receipt or after 30 days it automatically goes on a gift card so please do not fall for this people when they tell you that it's company policy that all refunds go on a gift card. they have to honor what the store policy is that is clearly printed on the back of the receipt and if it's stated AFTER 30 days it goes on a gift card. Read moreNow the store at first glance I will admit need a little TLC here and there... but all in all its the people who work in the store that make the shopping experience really enjoyable. I did not really care much for the Burlington on Niagara Falls Blvd because of it's size. But this one was fantastic. Recently an employee I came across in the housewares section of the store. Helped me find several things I had troubles finding myself but he made it really fun and highly enjoyable. I lost all my frustration and just enjoyed the help he had provided me. You cannot find other retailers like this often who actually give a crap about customers, but its a great start if you shop here! His name was "Eric", he was full of energy and actually cared to what I said etc. Employees who actually care are easy to remember but really hard to come by.
The only downside I can think of was they unfortunately could not locate my lay-away but it's was alright in general.
Cannot wait to splurge...
Read moreAs a frequent visitor to the area, I have shopped this store multiple times in the last year. I have gone different days and times, but I always find the same. Aisles you cannot get down (see photo), product all over the floor, and just overall a mess. As you can see from thee photo, I come in with a double stroller, which is not wider than a wheelchair. I did fit down this shoe aisle, but had to come back down it to get out as the other aisles were blocked. Most of the aisles are too close together for me to get down, regardless of the mess. Very frustrating. You can do much better. I'm pretty sure an ADA compliance refresher would be helpful. Edit: I also witnessed an employee empty their floor cleaner outside on the curb. It was not near a drain but just dirty water with hairballs left outside. The next day when we walked by the debris was blown up on...
