First of All the prices were a bit high which I wasn’t worried about since it’s in the mall and would have been fine had we go some good food. However, this place was a complete joke. My girlfriend and I went here for dinner before a movie and order the Quesabarias and grilled chicken salad. We also tried to order drinks, but after I asked what beer they have on draft like their menu says, they said none. My gf got a margarita which she didnt like and I got a diet coke. We ordered extra chips and queso which we never got however it was on the bill. Then we got our food quickly and it was abysmal. I asked for no tomatoes on the salad and there was tomatoes. The grilled chicken on it was somehow greasy and there was literally no cheese or the ranch dressing which was also supposed to be on it. So it was just iceberg lettuce, a little greasy chciken, 4 oranges, and a couple onions and peppers. By far worst chicken salad I ever had and can make 10x better at home. The worst part is my girlfriend’s quesabirria was significantly worse. Her’s came as literally 3 tacos (not even a quesadilla) that were so unbelievably greasy she had to try and drain them on the plate. So much came out she filled the bottom of the plate and even the birria sauce had a layer of grease on top and around the rim of the bowl. Somehow they even screwed up the rice that turned out be soggy and had a strange taste. When we asked to have the queso we never got taken off the bill and the quesadilla price to be switched to the taco price which she got the manager argued with her and told her she doesn’t know what she is talking about and was adamant the literal 3 tacos she got was a quesadilla. He never fixed the price and we were charged for it. By far the worst mexican restaurant I have ever been too. Salsaritas and chipotle are significantly better than this dogfood. Id rather eat at dave and busters or the food court at the mall instead of this place. Should name it...
Read moreThe atmosphere is a typical fun Mexican restaurant. We were originally seated at an awkward booth next to the front door which was a very tight squeeze. I’m not a big person, and the table was pressed up against me. We requested a different table, and were moved to a much bigger booth near the mall entrance. There were big window openings (no glass, just open) next to our table exposing us to the mall, so shoppers walked past our table throughout our dinner which was also a little awkward. My husband thought his chimichanga was the best he’s had in a long time. He appreciated the quality of steak. The chili relleno was meh, kind of soggy. My sister didn’t care for the birria tacos. I told the server I was a vegetarian, and she kindly confirmed which dishes I could eat. I unfortunately pulled meat out of my mouth after eating 70% of my dinner. I’ve been a vegetarian almost 30 years, so this was very upsetting to me. Our server apologized, but I stopped eating and was still charged for my meal. There were a few kinks they need to workout as a new restaurant. My husband requested no salsa on his food, and when asked about the missing queso on his dish, was told he requested that. He explained he asked for no salsa, and they told him the dish doesn’t come with salsa. He rechecked the menu and it in fact stated it came with salsa. He was told salsa means sauce, and I guess in this case the restaurant is referring to queso/cheese sauce? No big deal, but it shouldn’t have been an argument. They could have just said “sorry, we will bring you a side of queso!” So maybe some miscommunication. All in all, I don’t think I’ll be back. The prices are a higher compared to most Mexican restaurants. The margarita was big! Probably the best thing on our table. I wish them luck and hope they can work...
Read moreIf I could give you 0 stars I would!!!! Today I went out to est with my 2 sisters. When we arrived at the door we where full of life happy and got greeted by a nice young man. We decided to sit at the bar. The server was very friendly. We ordered 3 margaritas, they where ok!!! Ive def. had better but we ddnt complain. We ordered 4 sets of 3 tacos all different meats so we can try them all!!! The tacos came out cold and without the cheese we ordered. We kindly told our server. She offered to te make them but we ddnt want to waste the food so we just said we will est them just bring us cheese. The owner comes over and tries to tell us that is how they come out. He continues to try to convince us even though we had already said it was ok. He engages in an argument w my sister since she says she no longer wants to eat the food since she is very uncomfortable. So we kindly ask to pay for our margaritas and decline the food. This man walks away just to turn around and come back minutes later to tell us he doesnt want us to ever come back. I mean we dont want to anyways. So then things get out of hand because i am trying to pay for the drinks because it was never our intentions not to pay for the food or the drinks. It was very unprofessional and disturbing experience. As a restaurant manager I expected him to handle the situation better!!! I would not reccomend!!!! Ill pass and continue...
