Things I've recently purchased from Kirkland's: An oversized map of the world that hangs above my fireplace A full-length gilded mirror for my bedroom A unique tv stand for the living room And a few other things I told my husband were gifts. Shhhhh
I could spend hours in this store. Kirkland's has a great selection of pieces for every room in your house. This is a really good-sized store, too, so you are probably going to get what you need in-stock.
Once upon a time, Pier 1 was right down the road from me. When they closed their doors for good, I was a bit bummed because I honestly had forgotten about Kirkland's. I don't go out to this side of town very often, but I was looking up home decor places online when I moved and lo and behold, Kirkland's popped up. I was so happy to walk back in their doors! Yes, there's Home Goods, and who doesn't love Home Goods? They've got a great selection, too, but I find the items at Kirkland's to be a step above. The store is arranged more nicely and is less picked-over. Sometimes at HG, you'll see things that are broken or dented in some way. I've never seen that at Kirkland's.
Something else - they've often got a coupon or other discount you can use at the register, but I find their prices to be fair as they sell goods that are not cheaply made and rarely damaged. If you're looking for fall decor, Christmas decorations, something for Easter or Thanksgiving or Valentine's Day or summer, they've got you covered each season with fresh decor to make your house feel...
Read moreI drove 35 miles to pick up two things I ordered. I looked around and got 4 more fall items. I drive home and look on app and if says free gift with every purchase for open house. Did I have to ask for gift. The clerk who checked me out didn't know the answer to 2 of my questions. I asked her does my e mail address give me special rewards. She didn't know then she hands me receipt and said take a survey and you get $5 off next $20 purchase. I asked if you could use it online and she didn't know. So no answers to my questions. I order online but would like some answers when in front of a live person. Aren't these people trained or could ask...
Read moreI like this place. It's in the same type of store as Pier 1 but it's not the exact same. There's quite a lot of home goods here --- lamps, wall hangings, blankets, candles and so much more. Okay so if you really like this place you need to sign up for their emails. I received a 20% off coupon that was good for 30 days after the email was sent. I honestly don't think I waited 5 days. And this weekend was a customer appreciation weekend. The email gave me 20% off my purchase this weekend. The staff was giving out 15% coupons. So it pays to sign up...
