ALDI — Local services in Town of Cicero

I am an instacart driver and had to do an order here. The customer put the wrong address as her correct address was in auburn which is too far of a drive as that is in a different delivery zone. I had to return the items and the cashier was SUPER rude to me about it. I told her I had to return items and she yelled at me for it. When I told her it was because the customer entered the wrong address, she was like “are you seriously saying I have to throw out all this food?” And raised her voice at me. It was NOT MY fault the customer put the wrong address down. And most of the food was in packages that could be put back. There were no signs of any of it being opened. Her reason for getting mad at me was wrong and her attitude was uncalled for. If I didn’t have to shop here for instacart, I would never go to this...

I use to order from here through instacart. I constantly had to get refunds because they gave me rotten meat (many times), literally recieved green steaks... brown mush salad, gallons of milk covered in dried up and slimey milk on the outside. So gross! And they packed the bags so full you couldn't carry them. The employees that load the car are not careful, I had a gallon of milk break and spill all over the back of my car because the woman was so aggressive when loading (tossing) all my bags into my suv. Terrible. Moldy rotten food continuously. I go to other aldis now, they don't ever give bad or expired food, and the employees are consistently nice and carefully when loading your bags! The cicero location is by far the grossest and wort of all around...

The best place if your buying on a budget! They have a fair amount of vegitarian, gluten free and organic options. This one doesn't have any alchohol like some of them do but I think because of that their produce section seems to be larger. Amazing sales! Can't use coupons here but you really don't need any. Nice wide lanes inside of the store. It's always clean inside and out. They sometimes carry name brand items but I feel like the aldi brands they carry every day are usually just as good if not better and at a much nicer price. Bring your own bags or if you don't they will have reusable paper or plastic ones you can buy there cheap. Keep a quarter on hand for the carts you'll need it to get one out, you'll get it back when you...
