Dollar Tree — Local services in Town of Cicero

Whenever and everytime I visit this dollar tree the Manager Kelly is has been Very Friendly,Personable and Professional. Kelly has gone ABOVE and BEYOND to assist my shopping needs, for example if the front end of the store is out of item that I am shopping for she has gone out of her way to go to the stock room to see if there is anymore of the requested item. Kelly greets customers in a very welcoming and friendly way and that is HUGE. I do not go-to the dollarstore on a regular basis but whenever I have she is always working on the floor and stocking, working right along with her crew. Very disappointed,I ran in a couple nights ago realized I forgot my wallet but I did scrounge up $3.59 in change so I proceeded to grab 2 boxes of dog food and a liter of pepsi,Pepsi, I went to the checkout the cashier was on the phone,she seemed annoyed but rang up my items when I handed her my change,I apologized for it and she said "we don't usually do this so do not come back if that's how you pay!" Excuse me since when is it not permitted to use change to pay your bill,its not like I had an outstanding amount and it wasn't pennies,but her rudeness and sarcasm were enough that I will not shop...

Honestly I would vote 0 if I could. I have been here multiple times and always seemed to be a good experience. This past time was awful. The ladies at the checkout were rude and dismissive. I dealt bad for an older woman in front of me at the checkout. The cashier was incredibly rude to her over and over again. Not to mention when it got to my turn I was scolded for not bringing in my own bags. As the other employees seemed to be more into their discussion on hating their kids and so glad they don't have to be home with them.... Very unprofessional, most likely will not be...
