Absolutely terrible customer service! We came from another state to purchase an item, we called in advance to make sure they had it in stock and I specifically asked if it could be opened and inspected before we buy it, because lots of reviews mentioned multiple imperfections and the lady on the phone said that wouldn’t be a problem. Long story short, the display had the defects and we wanted to see another one they had in stock but the guy at the front refused to open the box saying they were closing in 15 minutes, I should mention we got to the store about 25 minutes before closing, he checked if there was the item in stock and then he went to help another customer, so looked like he was intentionally postponing helping us because I told him upfront I wanted to inspect it before buying. Glad to see this store back in NY. I use to always go to the one at the Palisades Mall location but one day I went and saw they were going out of business...my mom and I nearly screamed. Slowly I see more stores opening up. Would love to have one closer to home (Wallkill NY, wink, wink). Ordered a X & O game online for store pickup...seamless transaction They were having a 50% off on houseware... and well nearly 50 bucks later I walked out with a few more home decor items. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Store was organized and smelled great. Will definitely go back when heading home...

Having pre-ordered and prepaid for an item, I solely asked for help when I arrived at the store to quickly retrieve my item and leave, rather than waiting on the same line as those who were purchasing items on their visit to the store. I was answered very rudely by an employee of the store, possibly a manager, when a simple answer of inability would have sufficed. Absolutely inappropriate and unprofessional, a very poor representative for the store. I will certainly not be returning to this...
