I recently visited Kings House of Fire dispensary, and its hands-down 10/10 experience. You’re not just “shopping recreationally.” You’re stepping into an unbelievably positive, vibrant, most happening showroom experience. As someone living with a very rare neuro movement disorder that’s left me legally blind despite perfect vision, (quite the paradox) alongside lupus and other autoimmune diseases, finding a place that genuinely understands or even cares about my needs is rare. From the moment I approached the door (always with the warmest greetings from security) to the second I left, I was met with warmth, intelligence, and a team that felt like a small family joining me on my rare disease & chronically ill journey while navigating my new life of blindness. Walter, the owner, stands out immediately. His fascination with my condition wasn’t just curiosity—it was a deep commitment to understanding and supporting me. His focus on disability inclusivity is inspiring, and it’s clear he’s building more than a business; he’s creating a haven for the blind, disabled, and health patients like me. Then there’s Tony, the cannabis connoisseur, and every single employee—each one took time to pinpoint my pain and tailor solutions specifically for me. Even the security guards, who could probably take anyone down, were the friendliest I’ve ever met, adding to the welcoming vibe. One moment that hit home was when an older gentleman—I wish I could recall his name—assisted me first. He didn’t just help me shop; he offered a steady hand to keep me from tripping as I navigate this new, sightless life. That kind of care isn’t taught—it’s who they are. Kings House of Fire has improved my quality of life beyond pain relief or euphoria. They’ve given me a safe space to browse and shop with confidence, something I haven’t felt since losing my sight. This dispensary is a game-changer for Westchester County. Walter and his team are setting a standard for inclusivity, support, and advocacy that non-elderly disabled patients like me desperately need. I wish there were an award to nominate them for because I’ve never encountered a group of professionals this exceptional. If you’re looking for a dispensary that truly cares, Kings House of Fire is it—1000000% recommended. Thank you, Walter, Tony, and the entire crew, for impacting so many lives in...
Read moreI have my Florida medical card and I moved up back to New York for the next six months. Unfortunately, I can’t use my medical card up here but I do plan on getting my New York medical card but for now I decided to give the dispensary a try. I won’t lie. It’s so nice in there and I really like it! I am only 24 and I do look a bit young for my age, especially with what what I was wearing and I had no make up on so I appeared even younger. Obviously, since I look younger, I am aware they were probably trying to flock over me because They thought I didn’t know anything But I told them I didn’t need any help. There was one man that I didn’t appreciate because of the tone of voice he was saying to me that I looked like a child child, and it wasn’t in a teasing voice, but in a voice that was to put me down. I get it I look young and I would’ve appreciated if he just said I look younger for my age but I don’t appreciate being spoken to like that and then treated like I’m 14 years old. Half the girls in they only look two or three years older than me so I don’t understand. As I said, I know I look younger, and I am self-aware, and I know people will probably say things sometimes, but this man’s tone of voice threw me off, and it makes me never wanna go back to that dispensary ever again, and I probably won’t. I’m actually debating on calling and leaving a complaint because I was treated like a child in there and as an adult that’s so disgusting that they are infantilizing me. Yes, it hurt my feelings because I’m not treated like an adult. Also, they have no terpene profiles / coa on deck in there and I felt very rushed as well. as someone with my medical card I don’t like being asked 100 million things or like I had a fake ID to go in there. they were acting like i was being suspicious because i didn’t want help. Will I go in there again? Most likely not because I do plan on getting my medical card but the cannabis Smelled good, and it had a good terpene profile as well, despite not knowing so I can’t shame...
Read moreVery happy to have them on the neighborhood. There was a solid selection, but it was clear they were still new and adjusting. The self service interface wasn't great, and it was just their website. The kiosk said there would be a 20-30 minute wait, so I went up to the desk for help.
I was misled by the bud tender, unfortunately. I wanted sativa and indica vapes, and he showed me one he said was both with a switch to pick between. Nothing on the box or packaging indicated this, just two flavors, but I figured he knew what he was talking about. He said he loved it himself even though it was expensive.
Then I overheard him boasting to a coworker that it was the third one he's been able to sell that day, as if they were pushing them because they were pricey. Went home and looked it up, and it appears the switch is just for artificial flavoring. Nothing on the product website says anything about indica or sativa, just flavors.
The better budtenders focus on customer satisfaction over pushing products. Next time i will just use the self serve instead of asking for help. They did say it wouldn't be 20-30 minutes like...
