Forno Trattoria — Restaurant in Town of Cortlandt

I've been bringing my kids to this restaurant for after football practice on Wednesday nights, and we’ve had an exceptional experience every time. The establishment is spotless and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and unwind.

The wait staff has been consistently friendly and attentive. What impresses me most is how the service seems to improve with each visit – it's clear they're dedicated to providing top-notch hospitality.

The food is truly delicious! I recently ordered the chicken parmesan with angel hair pasta, and it was outstanding. The quality and flavor are on par with some of the best Italian restaurants in the area.

I have been here several times and the food is good. I was there today and I have no idea how the food was because I never got my order. I walked in and was looking at the menu deciding. I finally decided to order a philly wrap to stay. The guy at the counter took my order and repeated it to the girl at the counter. I sat in a booth which was dirty and waited fifteen minutes. Several of the staff including the guy who took my ordet walked past me many times serving other tabled. Seeing I was sitting there alone with no food or drink one would think they would see if I needed anything. But not one of the staff seemed to know proper customer service. I finally got up to leave and told the other counter girls that I never got my food, the table was dirty and none of the staff knew customer service. With that they just looked at me and said"have a nice day!" I will not be back. There are plenty of Italian...

Before I start, let me just say, growing up in Queens and Brooklyn, my standards of pizza are obnoxiously high and I’ve found very few pizza places in Westchester that I’m a fan of.

Forno absolutely has the best local “regular takeout slices” in Northern Westchester. Good subtle sauce, cheese and crispy crust.

I’m basing this review off of the pizza, only. I haven’t had entrees or apps, but I’ve had the cheese slice, the white slice, and the chicken scarp slice. All solid slices, and that chicken scarp slice was perfection. Still thinking about it a day later.

Very happy this place opened up recently. Hope they stick around for years to come.
