GO TO GREEK — Restaurant in Town of Cortlandt

I’m a door dasher and I come here often to pick up so it’s usually a easy pickup and go, today I had two orders to pick up from there at the same time, as I entered I saw one order was ready, the other order was not. I waited almost ten minutes for it to be done, after I waited the server or worker refused to give me the order and demanded to confirm I was there to pick up for Nancy S. While I was waiting those ten minutes for the second order I already confirmed with another server/worker that I was there to pick up for Nancy s. The food is great the atmosphere amazing the service needs a touch up. If a person is already picking up for DoorDash it should’ve been ready for pick up. I shouldn’t have to wait ten extra minutes for another order that was sent through at the same time. If you’re familiar with DoorDash the food is ordered ahead of time before the dasher picks it up. I’m not sure what the workers name but I know he has glasses with a high fade haircut...

This was our first visit to this establishment. It will certainly not be our last. The food here is prepared fresh and has excellent plating and taste. I was shocked as to the portion size which is pretty large. Today we had Falafel appetizer (pan fried croquettes of ground chick peas , onions and herbs with tzatziki sauce) to start followed by Vegetable Mousaka which has layers of zucchini, eggplant, potatoe and mushrooms topped with something called bechamel sauce. It comes with a Greek salad on the side. The salad was huge! We also had Chicken Souvlaki platter. Four kebabs with perfectly cooked chicken with lettuce, tomato and tzatziki sauce. Each meal was also served with a pita bread freshly baked. Great to dip into any remaining sauces. Really good! So if you are in search of an alternative, this is your place. Check.ot out. I have passed this place numerous times promising myself the next time I want to try someplace new I am coming here. All I have to say is why did I wait so long!! The place is very clean, their is a nice selection of Greek items on the menu and the staff members were very pleasant. I am half Greek and always worry that the food won’t taste as good as I am use to. Well this place exceeded my expectations. I had the Saganaki appetizer which had the right amount of seasonings sprinkled across the crispy cheese top. For dinner the Chicken Souvlaki platter came with 4 skewers of perfectly prepared chicken chunks over rice and a generous side of Greek salad.
