Big, HUGE shout out to Debbie in Customer Service at Kohl's. I went to Kohl's in Cortland, NY. I was just browsing the store when I came upon this beautiful Italian hand painted glass bowl. It was perfect for my home the only problem is I needed two of them but they only had one left. I went to Customer Service just to inquire if their store had more in storage. Debbie from Customer Service checked but that was the last one in their store. Without me even having to ask she started to scan other near by stores looking for this item and found one that was in the Bedford, NY store. This item was on clearance so she could not see the picture of the bowl on her device. Again without even asking she called the Bedford Store and explained in detail the item and asked if the person (Amelia) who answered the phone could try to find the item and call her back. After waiting for about 5 min and not hearing back, Debbie took it upon herself to call the Bedford Kohl's store again. Debbie said to me, "I don't want to make you wait." Amelia answered and was just about to call Debbie back and said she believed she had found the item. The two woman talked in great detail to ensure this is the bowl that I was looking for. Amelia asked for my name and how soon I thought I would be there. She instructed Debbie that when I arrived at the Beford Kohl's to ask for Amelia and she would give me the bowl to purchase. Long story short we drove over there about an hour later and just as promised Amelia had the bowl waiting for me. I want to say thank you to these two amazing ladies. Debbie you went above and beyond what I expected. Kohl's Debbie is an amazing employee and I do hope she is recognized for going above and beyond what she needed to do. If you have never worked retail it is not an easy job. I have worked retail in the past and it can be a very thankless job. A lot of people get burnt out because of the abuse by customers, lack of pay and long hours. Next time someone goes above and beyond at their job I hope that you take the time out to give the a 5 star review. It's so easy to post negative, but easy to forget and thank someone when they go out of their way for you. Thank you again...

I am handicap and walk with a cane so I decided to do the drive up pick-up yesterday through an online order.That went well a young lady delivered my package to the car and it was sealed in bags. When I got home I noticed there were two kids missing from the storage containers. So off I went to Kohl's today and had to truck through the store because the customer service desk is by the entrance th as t is closed due to covid. I told the person behind the counter my problem and she told me that the storage container didn't come with a lid. I reminded her it's a storage container and it was described on the receipt that it has a blue lid. Her response was what do I want to do? Do you want to go check for the lids and come back?. I reminded her that I was walking with a cane and had just walked through the store. I ended up having to return the bins because I was not helped at all. Read moreThis evening I had the displeasure of picking up an online purchase at this KOHL's location. I had purchased this particular item several days ago and it was indicated that it was ready for pick up. I specifically ordered this item for in-store pickup to avoid having to waiting on long lines due to holiday season and the influx of customers. Unfortunately this plan fell through due to the ridiculous ratio of sales associates to patrons on line (1:10). After waiting approximately 25 minutes in line another sales associate was brought to the customer service desk. I understand that this time of the year can be a bit hectic in the retail industry, but once I approached the counter the sales associate was unable to locate the item purchased three days prior. This was due to the lack of incompetence as well as the disorganization of the stock room.
