I recently visited Taco Project in Bronxville and had an exceptional dining experience thanks in large part to the excellent service provided by our server, Erick. From the moment we were seated, he greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile and made us feel right at home.

Throughout the meal, Erick was attentive and thoughtful, making sure that our drinks were never empty and that our orders were taken in a timely manner. He was knowledgeable about the menu and was happy to provide recommendations on both food and drink.

One particular instance that stood out to me was when I mentioned to Erick that I had a gluten allergy. He immediately went above and beyond to ensure that my meal was prepared safely and without any cross-contamination. He even checked in with me throughout the meal to make sure everything was okay.

Erick's professionalism and attention to detail truly made our dining experience at Taco Project a memorable one. His friendly and accommodating demeanor added to the already wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant, and we left feeling satisfied and grateful for the exceptional service we had received.

In addition to the great service, the food at Taco Project was delicious. The tacos were fresh and flavorful, and the guacamole and chips were the perfect starter. The drinks menu was also impressive, with a wide selection of margaritas and other cocktails, as well as Mexican beers.

Overall, I highly recommend Taco Project to anyone looking for a delicious meal and exceptional service in Bronxville. Thanks again to Erick and the entire staff for a wonderful...

I really wanted to like the food here but...

I ordered the shrimp taco and chorizo taco plates each came to a little over $8 each. It comes with two tacos per order so I had four tacos in total, along with their Mexican Corn (Elotes) starter which was about $4.

The first issue I encountered was the shrimp taco; the shrimp was battered and it tasted good, but I felt like I had to be careful when chewing, to not chop up the roof of my mouth with the hardness of the batter. It was like I shoved a bunch of the left over broken potato chips at the bottom of a bag in my mouth, I could feel the sharpness of the batter as I carefully crunched down on it.

The second issue I encountered was with the chorizo taco; there was no flavor. It was a real let down as I was looking forward to the distinct flavor that a good chorizo has. It wasn't even flavorful in ways that meat in general is flavorful. It just fell flat for me.

The elote was good; it had a decent kick to it, but that was it.

I went there when it started to get busy, so it seems like a pretty good evening crowd visits this place. It has nice relaxed feel where you could easily stop by for a quick bite.

All in all, food was a bit "meh", I felt the price was a bit high for the quality I got, since I could easily head to another taco spot in Port Chester and get higher quality tacos at...

The Taco Project Review

I recently visited The Taco Project and had a solid experience overall. The restaurant has a modern yet casual vibe, making it a great spot for a quick bite or a laid-back meal with friends. The menu offers a good variety of tacos, burritos, bowls, and other Mexican-inspired dishes, along with some creative cocktails.

I tried the Carne Asada Taco and the Taco, both of which were flavorful and fresh. The carne asada had a nice smoky char, though it was slightly on the salty side. The Al Pastor tacos were well-seasoned, topped with pineapple with a tangy twist. The guacamole was fresh but a bit on the smaller side for the price. The street corn was well flavored tangy and sweet! Hit the spot. The wings had a smoky taste ,crunchy, juicy cooked to perfection with a slight Heat to them!

Service was fast and friendly, and the food came out quickly. Pricing is reasonable for the quality, though portions could be slightly bigger. The ambiance was casual and clean, making it a comfortable place to eat.

Overall, The Taco Project is a solid choice if you’re craving tacos with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. While there are minor areas for improvement, I’d definitely return to try more of their...

I went in fully determined to get a hibiscus margarita — I had my mind made up and wasn’t taking no for an answer. But then came Ariana, and let me just say… WOW. She introduced me to a watermelon mint margarita that was quite literally one of the best drinks I’ve ever had in my life. Refreshing, perfectly balanced, and so flavorful — it was a masterpiece in a glass. Ariana herself was just as sweet as the drink. Warm, welcoming, and so pleasant to talk to. She has such a genuine energy that makes you feel taken care of the moment you sit down. What an absolute gem to have working for the company. Her customer service, her attention to detail, and her talent behind the bar deserve all the recognition. Trust me — if you get the chance to be served by Ariana, you’re in very good hands. SB: this is my 2nd one I needed one for the road lol.

I came in evening and after a long drive, looking forward to a good dinner. I ordered the shrimp tacos 🌮 specifically excited for the mango salsa that comes with them and also ordered corn off the cob. Unfortunately, when I got home, I discovered there was no salsa, just an empty small cup. I called and spoke to the manager, expecting at least a sincere apology or a reasonable solution. Instead, I was told I could either get double salsa next time or a refund of 50 cents. For a place known to be on the pricier side, that’s a disappointing response. After all that, I ended up eating dry tacos not what I paid for or expected. That 50-cent offer really said a lot about how they value their customers. Sadly, they lost me with that one. ✌🏽

UPDATE - I arrived today to be told that your best tacos I typically order are GONE FOREVER (Salmon 🐟). This is unacceptable as they were too delicious to delete. How can we make this right? Rapid service, amazing tacos (steak and salmon). Friendly service and staff who check up on you repeatedly to make sure you’re having a pleasant experience. Makes you want to be a regular here.
