KAY Jewelers — Local services in Town of Fond du Lac

Do not go to the store customer service is horrible! Over the past year I have spent literally thousands of dollars at Kay Jewelers in fond du lac every time I bought a piece of jewelry which I have bought many I purchased the extended warranty plan. This July I again purchased the bracelet for my someone special the bracelet broke after 2 months and I took it in to get repaired. To my surprise I was told that this bracelet wasn't covered under a lifetime plan which seems kind of strange since every other piece that I bought has a lifetime warranty on it. I was then told by the customer service representative it just needs a drop of solder let's see how much that is.. well to my surprise they wanted to charge me more to repair the bracelet then I paid for it when I questioned it she said sorry that's the way it is. I have yet to hear from anyone from customer service and when I called was told I was going to have between an hour and 40 minute and 3-hour wait time. If I do not hear back from them I will not do business with them anymore, and further more I do not recommend anyone doing business with them until they can change the way they service their customers. They don’t even deserve 1 star. I’m getting married in 2 months, so I thought, hey I might as well take my ring and 2 bands in to get soldered together and resized. When I told the lady I wanted everything sized a little bit bigger, she fought me on it. I know my hand and I want it sized. Just do it. Then I finally got my ring sent in, went 2 weeks without it and they called to let me know it came in. So I got in my car, drove there to pick it up. Only to find out they didn’t size my 2 bands, but only my engagement ring. The guy gave it to me and made me quickly sign for it. I got out to my car and looked it over thinking that it didn’t look just right. I drove right to the Oshkosh and asked her to honestly tell me if I was being a ‘bitchy bridezilla’ but I honestly thought my ring didn’t look right.
