Dear Chipotle, Please move into Fond du Lac and shut this Qdoba down. Been eating here for several years and it never ceases to amaze me at how terrible the service is and how bad the food can be. I come to this Qdoba maybe once every few months and there is always a new set of staff. I will say there has been a hand full of rare occasions where the staff and food are actually good. This time during peak lunch hours where the line was to the door and they had a half a dozen online orders, there were only 4 people on staff. The one boy flipped fresh chips the entire time then just left after about 20 minutes of doing that. Lady #1 I am not quite sure what she was doing, maybe making one container of chicken and cleaning? Lady #2 was working the line, probably the only one in the restaurant actually trying to help customers. Unfortunately, I don’t think anyone trained her on how to make any of the food or roll a burrito. At one point I think she left for the back room to have a small mental breakdown. Lady #3 who I presume was the shift manager just sat at the register watching Lady #2 struggle. And when Lady #3 finally decided to help she never put gloves on because she was wearing her glittered fingernails. Glad she didn’t touch any of my food.
I got a hot and sweat chicken burrito. I ended up with more of the hot and sweat liquid than I did chicken, the beans were cold, they ran out of queso, and my burrito rolled so poorly that it was practically just a bowl with soggy tortilla. The worst of it all is that I watched the boy make fresh chips for 20 min while in line and the chips I got were stale as can be.
I’m not even going to comment about how disgusting the rest of the restaurant is.
Chipotle, I’m sorry for preferring Qdoba over you in the past. But you definitely need to open up a location here in Fond du Lac so we all can have good...
Read moreMy wife arrived home with a sad excuse for an online order, so I called the store to ask about getting a refund because we got burritos the size of a small potato, with nothing in them. We were informed of no queso or guacamole, but our burritos were nothing but rice and beans, with ground beef for a replacement of steak.
The young girl who answered quickly passed the phone to the manager who answered and gave his name, **dy. When I told him we didn’t get any ingredients in our burritos he was extremely rude and informed us, that we needed to come back with the food to get a refund. So we did.
When we got there, I noticed all the salsa & cheeses & sour cream were available, but not on any of our burritos.
The young lady’s now sitting at a table instead of behind the serving counter yelled for manager **dy when they realized my wife was back.
Manager **dy came from the back in a dirty Tshirt & jeans, nothing with any Qdoba branding in it, took my order & started heading back while saying I’d get a refund in a few days….I grabbed my food bag back and requested a receipt showing the refund. He said he couldn’t refund it because it was done online, so I asked why he just told me on the phone he could refund me as long as I brought back the food. He then reluctantly agreed to get me a refund receipt. When I asked for his name he told me Bob, which obviously was a lie.
There is a lack of character & professionalism shown by the staff.
This is not the first bad experience I’ve had at this location but it will be the last.
Qdoba in FDL used to be a great experience, but in the past year or so it’s become a dump. I will certainly Never visit this...
Read moreHave been here 3 times. Tonight being the last. The same blond guy has been working all 3 times. He does this exaggerated sigh and eye roll. Very forcefully and rudely asks every question before the tortilla is even done cooking. Repeating the question if you don't answer fast enough. And then he dosent even get the order right because he thinks he can memorize what your answers are before he is even at each station. And then he folds the burrito width wise creating a sloppy ball and then storms off into the back with his arms crossed leaving whoever is running register to deal with the mess. The first time this happened we had assumed he was having a bad day but this has happened to us every time he has taken our order and we have talked to other customers who have also had the same bad experience with this same guy. I don't know how he is still employed with such an awful attitude and service. If the customer service wasent bad enough he also can't seem to get anyone's orders right. I really can't understand how he is adding any value to your team. I love Qdoba but I just can't keep coming here if this is the service I am met with. We are very calm and polite customers I can't imagine why he would treat us like this or how he would treat new customers who may need time to look over the options.
