Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Fond du Lac

I have been here many times as I live in the area. But I just had to say something after my most recent experience. My boyfriend placed a to go order, he ordered a salad, chicken sandwich (he didn’t want a side, and was told by the employee that he would only be paying for the sandwich), and queso app. We both went to pick up the order, I asked again if he only paid for the sandwich, the employee told us no, there was no discounted price for just ordering the sandwich (totally, fine). I said there was confusion over the phone and asked for an order of fries to be added. My boyfriend then proceeded to ask more about the rewards program saying that he was a part of it but didn’t know anything about it. This employee gave him a look like she thought he was stupid for asking this and in a demeaning tone said “um you get stuff”. After we waited for our fry order, we drove home only to find out there was no salad. We called the restaurant, they proceeded to tell us it was there, however did not offer anything for their mistake. Only when I asked them what they planned to do for the inconvenience did they put me on hold for the manager. The manager comped the salad, but to be honest they should have comped the whole meal. Now my boyfriend will return home from getting my salad that has been sitting for 30 min, to his cold food that has been sitting for...

We aren't usually sports bar people, but the FdL BDubs is an exception that I think we'll make again and again.

The service was friendly, the tables, floor and seats were incredibly clean, and the food was amazing. I ate a smoked brisket double cheeseburger with caramelized onions, and it was definitely in the top 3 burgers I've ever had. I also had an order of 6 wings on the side. My wife ate chicken tenders with a garlic parmesan dipping sauce, and she ate the whole thing. She rarely finishes her food at a restaurant, but she ate every bite.

The bathrooms were clean (which is saying something for a sports bar), the atmosphere was quiet enough we could hold a normal conversation, even with the TVs and sports fans, and our drinks were kept filled.

I give it a total of 14/15 stars, only because our main courses weren't timed well and mine came out nearly 5 minutes before my wife's. Otherwise, everything came out perfectly. The fries were crisp, the burger looked like a commercial (I had already started messing with it when I took the picture... Sorry), the waitress was friendly, and the wings were perfectly glazed with sauce.

Normally I'd say I love going to BWW.This evening this was not the case. There were 6 of us: 3 adults and 3 kiddos and they weren't very busy. Our server was terrible. She spent most her time hanging out at the corner booth behind us.. we assume they worked there. Our appetizer came with the rest of the food so it ended up pretty much getting tossed. My 8 year olds food came out later after everyone else had their food. Food wasnt hot and wings that were supposed to have sauce barely had any. We Had to ask for any refills we received, She didn't come back to see how the food was until we were well into our meal. My daughter started getting cranky as it was late. I Had to go find ans ask another person for boxes and to get our bill and she then told me my server would bring it right over. However my server then went and took another tables order AND rang it in before bringing my bill to me but then stood over me waiting and watching me box up food like I was going to run for the door. It was very very uncomfortable. Biggest waste of a $100+. Will not ever ever go back to that location.
