I visited this location on 7/24 around 4:45/5 pm. Upon reading these reviews, I see that someone else also had a poor experience like me on the same day. That’s really telling; your staff is rubbing people the wrong way enough for multiple people to address this in these reviews. I had a coupon to redeem that was expiring soon, so I stopped in to shop and use it. The cashier (Abby as indicated on my receipt) was incredibly rude. First off, she tried saying my coupon that expired on the 31st was expired. I had to correct her. One of my items I was buying was clearance, and the other two were full price. My coupon would only apply to the full price items, and when I saw my total shoot up over $20 I asked Abby if she could double check the scanning and see why the coupon made the price go up higher. Abby looked me dead in the face and looked annoyed I was asking her to double check an obvious error. She said “I don’t know” in response to me asking why the coupon didn’t work. I looked at the pin pad which read: $25, $25 then $10 and yet the total was $81. It did not add up. Abby continued to look at me with disgust, making me feel like I was in the wrong and inconveniencing her. Long story short the manager came over and instructed her to do 2 transactions to use the coupon on the full price items and buy the clearance item at clearance price. Abby still did the same thing where she scanned the clearance into the full price transaction, which I had to correct her on. She then finally said “Yeah I guess I have to do that.” For the second transaction she didn’t ask for my email like for the first one, clearly indicating she was annoyed at the situation and wanted to rush me out of there. I understand working retail has its pros and cons, I worked in retail management for years in the past. What’s not okay is to project your frustration onto the customers. I wasn’t trying to make Abby feel bad or wrong, I was bringing a computer error to her attention. She made me feel so unwelcome. I will not be returning here, no matter how amazing the coupons and sales are. I hope the staff is addressed or realigned because this is a consistent theme based on the...
Read moreWindsor used to be my go to store to find dresses. A lot of the stores I used to go to closed (body central, wet seal, deb).
My boyfriend got me a dress from there for Christmas. He picked out a random dress hoping I would like it, but it wasn't my type so I wanted to return it. He tried to return the dress and was told they have a 14 day return policy. I looked at the recipe and it said "any purchases made from 11/18-12/24 can be returned for a full refund". I go back and show the same lady what the recipe said and showed her he bought it on 12/08. She still insisted that they have a 14 day return policy. I'm not backing down, so she gets another employee to help. That employee says she can do a full refund, but only on a gift card. I tell her that's not what a full refund means. They even had a sign by the cashier stand that stated "full return in the original method of payment". So I tell her no the policy says this, you must honor it. She goes to get a manager and the manager finally let's me do the return.
I asked the manager why I had to go through 2 employees and a manager to get a full refund when it's obviously a policy they are supposed to know and follow. The manager says they probably don't know about the policy. It doesn't matter whether the employee just started working there or if they have been working there for years; the training and meetings should be enough to relay important information.
I dont know what happened to Windsor, but they used to be a decent store to shop at. They had a good management team and had effective team members. Now you can go into the store and no one interacts with you, employees are too busy to open dressing rooms or find sizes, and they don't know their own policies or how to...
Read moreI shopped here with my granddaughter for prom dresses. We went early on Saturday because we wanted to avoid a crowd. When we started looking at dresses we were approached by a sales associate (?Dominique). She introduced herself. She said to let her know when my granddaughter was ready to try on dresses. She advised how many dresses could go in the dressing room at once (6, I think) and to let her know if we want to see a dress hung too high to reach. She was pleasant and professional. The store was tidy and clean. The dresses were organized well. The selection was large. When we were ready, Dominique showed us to our dressing room. There were several chairs for the comfort of Mom's (&grandmoms) to wait. Dominique told my granddaughter to put any dresses she didn't want on a rack which she showed us. As more teens came in Dominique kept things organized. My granddaughter found the dress she loved. The price was less than $100. Check out was quick. The associate at check out was friendly and said she loved the grandma shopping trip! Later we went by the store again and there was a line for the dressing rooms. This is a busy store and it takes time to pick out a prom dress. I've been to expensive department stores where the dressing rooms are not attended and end up a mess with dresses all over the place even on the floor. Dominique kept everything organized and the dresses perfectly hung in their place and clean. I am so happy we went to this store. It was a...
