Five Below — Local services in Town of Hamburg

I am so sad about this, they used to be one of my go to places , but since they have changed over EVERY register to a do it yourself, I sadly will not be back. I was buying things to put together employee appreciation baskets for the staff I work with at my employer. I asked right away if self scan is the only option. I was told it is self check out only. I did ring myself out for the very first and last time. The first item rang up wrong from what it was marked. We brought it to the associates attention, and was advised that they would change the price when I was done scanning everything. I rang up all 45 items ( actually number of pieces I bought) and the employee that had to change the price to what it was tagged was irritated that she had to change the price on 18 things. I am sorry but I had a budget, and worked my budget on what it was marked on both the tag, and on the product. I understand to keep a competitive price, SOME things had to change, but not one register? I don't work there, I don't get an employee discount. What happened to...

I have never had a bad experience when I shop at this store. Staff member Michele was absolutely wonderful when it came to answering my questions about what I was searching for. When customers walk in she is always the first to greet them with a warm enthusiastic voice. I also commend her attitude for working through the pandemic with an upbeat positive personality like herself while organizing products and making sure merchandise is neat and clean. Michele really should get more than five stars because she really is such an outstanding employee in my personal opinion but facts are more reliable and it is evident she puts in so much effort into her work whenever I shop. I hope the store recognizes her achievements and pay her adequately for her hard work,...

The saddest 5 Below I've ever been in. The fewest items I've ever seen. Crap scattered everywhere. Then, I asked the cashier what time they were open on weekdays, it being Saturday, and they were closing at 8pm (I thought it seemed a bit early.) Anyway, the response was, "It's posted on the door somewhere". Well, screw me, I'm sure it is "somewhere", but it's currently pouring rain and 28° so I wasn't going to play Where's Waldo for the hours of operation while getting hypothermia.
