Went to the Starbucks on McKinley this morning. Put in a mobile order at 7:44. The app said the drink (1 drink) would be waiting at 7:51. Got to the store and waited until 8:00 - No Drink! Inquired to be sure they got my order- you know technology right- she looked and yes your order is there and nothing else. Not like in 2 more drinks ahead of you or you’ll be up next. So I waited another 3 minutes- so far it took close to 20 min and now I am going to be late for work. So I just asked to be refunded and they couldn’t figure that out either- another 3-4 min. No apology or anything. Then I don’t see my money back on my card and call. Again, not very nice- “well it may take 24 hours” and “ if it doesn’t?” “Call 1-800-Starbucks- hangs up- WOW. I call 1800 Starbucks and can’t understand the first person, they transfer me to another person. He does apologize “ oh that’s too bad”. Ya Think- “ I’ll let that business know. You’re money has been credited- have a good day” Really, because of your company I wasted a bunch of time, didn’t get my drink and was late for work- They are really not worth this much aggravation- BYE STARBUCKS- must not pay their employees enough. Now how to get my money off the card and reimbursed to my visa- any guesses how long or how much work that will...
Read moreDisgusted by the experience I just had at the Starbucks on McKinley Parkway! I regularly visit this location and have no complaints or issues. But just now while waiting in line for my beverage I watched an employee change 2 garbage bins in the lobby, she then proceeded to set the tied up garbage bags next to the mobile order drinks. She then grabbed all the drinks from the barista’s counter BY THE LID and move every single one of them down to the to-go section. Following this she proceeds to pick up the trash bags and be on her way. When the barista handed me my drinks I politely asked for a straw (obviously feeling uncomfortable with their level of hygiene) and got very nasty with me and said, “uh with that lid you don’t even need a straw soooo. Do you really need one???” My husband said yes we do and he threw the straws down onto the wet countertop while I clearly reached out to grab them from him. Read moreMe and my step daughter were shopping in this plaza and she had to use the restroom- we went to 3 different stores looking for one and they were all closed so we walked down to Starbucks, a guy with glasses and brown hair stopped us on the way to the bathroom and asked if he could start something for me I said no thank you my daughter just really needs to use the bathroom, he proceeded to tell me “it’s only for paying customers.” I spend probably $50 a week at Starbucks just for them to tell me my daughter can’t use the bathroom? NOPE. She went anyways. I said call corporate I’m not having her pee her pants. No one was even in the place. Horrible customer service and lack of common sense. He told me to go to chick fil a (we parked all the way at the other end of the parking lot by five below so I would have to have her walk on the way back and drive her across traffic to go to another restaurant while on the verge of peeing??um no. ) truly flabbergasted....
