For the past 20 years, this studio has truly become a second home to meāa sanctuary where I always feel safe, supported, and uplifted. Every visit leaves me feeling better than when I walked in, both physically and emotionally. Over the years, Iāve witnessed its evolution, much like a fine wine, continually improving and offering more to its community.
The addition of Sculpt and Pilates classes has been a perfect complement to my fitness routine, meeting my gym needs in new and exciting ways. I especially love their pop-up classes, always introducing fresh and innovative options. One of my seasonal highlights is the 108 Sun Salutations class, which I make sure to attend each time itās offered. These classes have contributed to my growth on every levelāphysically, emotionally, and spirituallyāand Iām deeply grateful for the wonderful instructors who guide me.
The staff here is exceptional, each bringing their own unique vibe and style, which provides a diverse and engaging challenge every time. Their curated playlists only add to the energy, making every class feel fresh and motivating. Karina, the owner, is a true inspirationāher dedication to the studio and her active involvement in local organizations adds so much heart to the space. She has fostered a welcoming and loving community that radiates positivity.
As I walk in, the first thing I see is a painting with the words āBe the changeāāa reminder I carry with me as I head into each class, setting a purposeful tone for the day ahead. The 6 a.m. classes, in particular, are an experience I highly recommend; at certain times of the year, the sunrise that pours through the windows creates a breathtaking scene thatās the perfect way to start the day.
This studio is so much more than a place to work outāitās a place for growth, connection, and transformation. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly enriching and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhere do i start! I purchased a single class super excited to try yoga as a low intensity workout to balance out my high intensity martial arts training. As a head martial arts instructor of my own school i understand how important starting classes on time and respecting time is, however, after rushing to the studio after dropping my daughter off at pre-school in long beach i showed up at about 8:57pm, having to find the entrance which i am not sure which one it is, i realized the doors were locked, trying to call the school number which i was greeted my an automated machine telling me the number wasnt in service!!!!
I finally reqched the owner on her personal cellphone , who has a pompous condescending attitude, without even trying to understand me proceeded to patronize me about coming 1 minute after 8:59. She told me the policy that doors lock 1 minute before class, however, i purchased my class on their mobile app, which has class descriptions but fail to mention that policy! She than tells me its on their websiteā¦but what about those who use google and your mobile app which i was directed to by an employee upon calling the number i got on google!!!!
Not everyone goes to your website, being that you have a mobile app and is local to me, i did not need much more than the app which gave class descriptions which was all i really needed! Instead of arguing me about being 1 minute late with her nasty attitude all she had to say was āi understand, and i will reach out to my developers to add the disclaimers and policy to the app descriptions.ā But she chose her nasty attitude instead bragging about being open 19 years.
Look, i get you dont care about 1 lost black client, but everyone and every business has room for growth. Dont take your success for granted. Needless to say i would never book with them again, i do not need instruction from someone who insists on belittling...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTo be a part of this very special yoga community is one of the great joys of my life. There is something magical going on here. These people are so far ahead of the curve. It's an experience and a ride not to be missed. The genius is in the details. This school is a model for all schools and a place to practice and grow. The teaching staff have this soft glow about them but they deliver a powerful class. It is so important to have strong experienced teachers to keep us moving along in a steady pace and give us just the right amount of boost in their dialogue to get us to go deeper and deeper with each asana. I LOVE THIS PLACE!
Love the state of the art radiant heating system! Love the colors! Love the big windows! Love the flooring! Love the whole set up. These people have always gone the extra mile in terms of design. Hot yoga is more than just turning on the heat.
Maintaining the integrity of the practice is key and John and Yolanda have brought a new level of practice to us now with the 60 minute class. It is brilliant and gives so many of us the opportunity to practice more while still getting the maximum benefit.
The hardest part of Hot Yoga4You RVC is getting in my car to go there but once I walk through that door and I see those steps and it's the stairway to heaven.
Thank You, John and Yolanda and all the staff at the RVC school. This town has never been the same since you opened over a decade ago.
I also want to thank you for such a fabulous website with all the great recipes and for sharing so much love and...
