Bling Lash Studio — Local services in Town of Hempstead

Originally I gave bling lash studio a 5 star review but after my visit yesterday I decided to delete my original review and update accordingly.

I scheduled an appointment for 5 pm, I arrived on time & was assisted fairly quickly. The lash tech with the raspy voice assisted me. The first issue that occurred is when I checked in for my service, The lash tech wanted me to pay at first, prior to any services being received. I personally was highly offended as I have been to Bling Lash Studio numerous times and have never out of my 8+ visits paid before I received a service. The lash tech explained that this was done to avoid any problems & to me that made no sense, but I explained to her that I have never paid prior to service. I then proceeded to the back and was prepped to receive my new set. At this point, I realized that the lash tech only wanted to , make me pay for her own personal reasons once I witnessed: another customer was done with her & the same tech got up from doing my lashes to assist the other customer with checking out after the service. My lashes came out nice, but once my lashes were complete the lash tech told me that my lashes may not stay on due to me having residue from Prior eye make up which was mascara. For a lash business. I would assume that your lashes are cleaned prior to application of lashes being installed, but clearly this is something that was not done. If there was mascara still left on my eyes, a proper establishment would have removed or informed me to remove any make up that may have been left behind. The lash tech applied the lashes on top of whatever was left on my eyes. unfortunately, I will not be returning due to improper application and the fact that I now have to question their integrity. I came in on Saturday and now on Friday I have multiple extremely large gaps in my lashes. I fully paid 130, which is extremely pricey, I have never paid that much anywhere else and I been getting them done for years but I needed a whole new set after a 3 week break and the places that are actually trustworthy were booked. I asked for natural and they gave me long and bushy lashes. Lashes that cost 130 should never be having fall out like this, especially not after I have been taking care of them so well. The glue they use isn’t good quality and as soon as I went home i could feel how brittle the glue hold was, this was without even touching them. I have more lashes fallen out then in. Plus half of the lashes are twisted, and were placed pointing left right and down but not the correct way 😂 make that make sense. If you are looking for a quick chop job that looks like there is glue all over the lash, point every which way but up and exactly not what you wanted then this is the place for you, but if you want lashes that actually are worth your money and time, please save your self the frustration I am feeling and go somewhere else, even if it’s a drive, it’s definitely better then these results!!! Bling lashes is the best!! They always provide the best service in terms of quality of eyelashes as well as the ladies that work there are always professional, as well as friendly and pleasant. I have been using them consistently for almost a year. And I have never been disappointed and I always get compliments on my eyelashes. The truth is the cost of getting your eyelashes done is not cheap, but their prices are competitive and definitely worth it! Recently, I decided to try to save money and let my friend do my eyelashes. What a terrible decision!! There was absolutely no comparison in quality and my lashes looked so bad and had so much extra glue that I went to Bling with my tail between my legs to ask them to fix it. (Lol). They fixed them with a smile and I learned a very important lesson!! Less is definitely not best and you get what you pay for! Run, don’t walk to Bling!! They truly are the best and I’ve tried a few different places before I tried them. I neglected to mention that their facility is always very clean and it is also very well appointed.
