This place is so cute!! The vibe is definitely the best part of this restaurant. The ambiance is absolutely gorgeous. Very intimate with the obvious Latin influence shining through. Dim lighting, pops of bright colors and an absolutely stunning floral ceiling that really enhances the area. They had a DJ for brunch that played a really good mix. Staff was also incredible. The manager [possibly owner?] was super nice and attentive. He was assisting with seating/serving since they were packed and was very warm and welcoming. Our waitress was also amazing. She came around to check on us multiple times, and always seemed more than willing to assist us in whichever way we needed. The drinks were delicious. The food was okay. Good choices, but flavor was a little one note. Definitely more than edible, but I expected a stronger burst of flavor from a Latin restaurant. The steak was overcooked, and the Maduro waffle texture was different than a normal waffle [I think if if was crispier and thicker it would help], but the taste on both was good. Absolutely nothing off putting or severe enough not to return Overall, would absolutely recommend and will be back to try other dishes! If you or your party is celebrating a birthday, they do something to make you feel real VIP which ai thought was a nice touch [although I’d suggest a couple diff. Song options/rotation]

Made a reservation for a birthday Saturday brunch. As per their website I had to call because the party was too big to do it online. Lady said the manager should confirm with me through text shortly. I didn’t get a text. Thankfully, I took her name and his. The day of I showed up with my party and briefly told the hostess. Manager was put off due to lack of communication and didn’t apologize. With a pout we got seated to 2 wobbly tables. I was considerate enough to offer to seat us away from people due to us having 2 toddlers. Bottomless was denied. The waitress went to ask the manager. It was confirmed by her if all adults refused to purchase , no one was allowed. Not even the birthday girl. The steak was good just the size of my palm, unlike the pictures online. Mangu was 10/10 yum! They were decent enough to let two additional people added to table last minute. They ate and drank their food less than 15 mins. We were considerate enough to ask before they got there if they can be added we were told 50/50 chance they’d be seated with us “due to them filling up” they’re were plenty of tables and chairs probably just short staffed. We figured they’d be seated nearby- no biggie. (They went to the other Mojo in queens! That’s why they were late-our fault completely) We tried our best to make the best of it for the birthday girl. She loved her 4 leches dessert tho! Bomb! Don’t dare ask the waitress for any recommendations, you’ll just piss them off. You should read the rest of the 1 star reviews. Seems like we were not just the unfortunate ones. Idk how to answer back on here the manager Omar- so I’ll just edit this review. Apology accepted. The time being seated wasn’t a big deal. That actually managed to make us stay. Thank you kindly. Since the rest of the party were taking pictures outside of the restaurant-I didn’t know that was considered my party “not being all there” that was my fault. It was the mannerism, chest puffing, unprofessional and eyebrow raising passive aggressiveness that did it for me.

Mojo offers an exceptional dining experience that is both delightful and memorable. When you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere, accentuated by beautiful decorations that seamlessly blend contemporary and rustic elements. The ambiance sets the perfect stage for a fantastic meal. One of the highlights of my visit was the delicious steak empanada. It was perfectly cooked, with tender, flavorful steak encased in a crispy shell that left me wanting more. Every bite was a savory delight, showcasing the chef's attention to detail and commitment to quality. The drinks menu at Mojo is equally impressive. I highly recommend trying the Passion Mula. This refreshing cocktail combines the vibrant flavors of passion fruit with a spicy kick, making it a perfect pairing for the empanadas. The balance of flavors truly elevates the dining experience. Viviana, the bartender, added to my overall enjoyment of my visit. Her friendly demeanor and expert mixology made the evening even more special. She was knowledgeable about the menu, recommending the perfect drink to complement my meal and ensuring I felt welcomed throughout my time there. Overall, Mojo is a gem that combines fantastic food, beautiful décor, and attentive service. I can’t wait to return for another round of those amazing steak empanadas and the Passion Mula!

This place is a brunch trap. Its a mock up of a trendy Queens or NYC restaurant but not quite there. The server was very friendly and attentive. We did the prefix brunch for $45 The chix sandwich with fried cheese in the 1st course was delicious but everything else was subpar. The prefix salad was just green lettuce and shave onions 👀 it included a jalapeño vinaigrette that we all concluded was tasteless. No tomatoes, carrots, or anything that might resemble a salad. There are 2 bottomless options which we didnt choose from. 1- $20 for "1" hour unlimited sangria and mimosa. 2 -$30 for "1" hour of sangria mimosas and bottom shelf liquor but they wont make cocktails with this package (it actually said this on menu) 😂 Also my friend had told me that the sangria tastes very sweet and syrupy as if they just bought a premixed sangria mixer and added wine and this helped persuade our choice. I dont know how many cocktail I can drink in 1 hour but I can confirm that it wont surpass 2. Finally our bill was ***$111.00pp***. BRUNCH TRAP!!!!

We were a party of six or seven and arrived on time. We were sat by the bar so that they can "prep the table", even though we noticed they have empty tables - see pictures. Took them 20 minutes to "prep" the empty tables. I get it - they put us at the bar so that they can get few more bucks out of us so that we order drinks before dinner. We sat at our table and the server gave us a pre-fixe menu. We asked for the regular menu, but the managers told us that since we have a certain number of people in our party, we must order from the pre-fixe menu. We asked why - he said it's restaurant policy. Managers' attitude was extremely rude, so we left. Party vibe. Music was extremely loud. My friends who ordered cocktails from the bar before dinner said the drinks were weak. Many accounts who gave this restaurant a five star rating only reviewed this specific restaurant - very sus. If you are looking for great food, with great atmosphere and a place to chat while eating, go to Izakaya or SUP Vietnamese Kitchen.

Went here for a drink this past Friday night, as we waited for our reservation across the street at Papa Gallo, which I believe they’re partnered with, and it was such a great atmosphere! Made me want to dance! They had a DJ spinning awesome music, esp Latin music - bachata, merengue, salsa. I literally left there dancing in the parking lot, as you hear the music outside. Not obnoxiously loud inside either, as you’re still able to hear your group speak. Great vibes and excellent service, even for just a drink. We were standing by the bar, but the crew guided us to one of the tables by the bar to have our drinks instead. Many hands on deck making sure things are running smoothly. Would totally come back to try the food and have more drinks. Drinks were actually super tasty and strong, considering it was only one and I felt tipsy off of that one haha. Great spot for a date night, or friends/group-date out. Loved the decor as well.
