I have been a customer at Concord Jewelers since 2011. Tony and Jerry are the BEST!

They are kind, honest, extremely knowledgeable and reasonably priced.

No project is too small or too big. Examples:

Replacing battery watches. Whenever I have a battery replaced, Jerry will replace it and say, "no charge, you have lifetime coverage." They mark the inside of the watch that tells them I had purchased a lifetime plan. Of course I don't remember which watches I had done that on. It was over 10 years ago. They are so honest!

They have repaired many pieces of my costume jewelry. They have absolutely no value. They do the job as though they were worth millions.

I did not know what to do with an old ring that was valuable, but had no use for it. After discussing options with Tony, he transformed it into a beautiful pair of earrings that I wear all the time.

I asked Tony to restore a vintage watch that belonged to my grandmother. It was not a simple procedure. It took many months. I was hoping to have it by Christmas, to give to my mom. But it wasn't ready. Although I was disappointed, Tony communicated with me each step of the way. He needed to send the watch out to one of his watchmakers as he could not perform the task in house. He was dependent upon their expertise and their timetable. He would call me every so often to update me on the progress. Although I was frustrated, I understood and appreciated his updates. At one point, he called to tell me that the watch was just about ready. However, he was not satisfied with the final product and asked the watchmaker to redo or alter something. When I finally received the watch, I was astounded by the exquisiteness of the final product. I gave it to my mom on Valentine's Day. She cried at the beauty of her mother's watch.

I asked Tony to restore a vintage ring for me. The stone needed to be replaced and updated. A real stone would have cost many thousands of dollars. I then asked about my other options. We discussed imitations, quality and price. I was hoping to have it by my mother's birthday in a few weeks. I gave him a dollar amount that I was willing to spend. He called 10 days later and said my ring was ready for pick up. When I saw the ring, I was blown away. He reviewed the process he went through, finding exactly what I wanted. The cost was 1/3 the price I was willing to spend. Amazing!

After we recently posted a negative review about our experience with this establishment, the store owner published a disparaging response that accused my wife and I of distorting the facts. That was extremely unprofessional and his statements were inaccurate. He claims he offered us a refund for repair services we prepaid but ultimately did not receive. In fact, when we asked for our watch after 4 months of not being repaired as requested, the owner refused to give a refund because he claimed the repair work was nearly completed. It was only after we posted a negative review that he offered a refund, and he insisted several times that we take down the negative review. While he had the watch for those 4 months, I would call every week or two and most of the time was told someone would call back, which rarely happened. He claims that he offered to have us pick up the watch before we posted the review. Again, this is a fabrication. After months of unfulfilled promises and failures to return our calls, we posted a review and 4 days later the owner called to say we could pick up the watch the following week (which I did today). We go out of our way to support local businesses because we value the convenience of living in a town with so many retail establishments. And we have never once written a negative review about any of them. For Concord to do such a poor job of handling this situation and then to lie about what actually happened is truly adding...

I went into Concord Jewelers with a friend who was looking for a ring. I decided to have Tony look at the broken lock on my tennis bracelet. I left it with him and it was cleaned and ready within a few days. When I put my bracelet back on Tony asked why I was wearing it so big. I didn’t realize that was the case. It was a gift 10 years ago. I put it on that day and rarely took it off. Tony suggested I size it down and use the stones to make a ring. What a great idea! He took the bracelet back and sized it. When I went to pick the bracelet up Tony had written down some ideas for a ring. He didn’t know I decided to include my original engagement diamond which was sitting in a drawer not being worn. He was happy to help me pick another setting to include the center stone. We had one final meeting before the ring was made. I picked it up the other day and I couldn’t be happier! PLUS he made me 2 diamond bands out of diamond hoop earrings I had and couldn’t wear because they hurt my ears!
