99¢ Dreams — Local services in Town of Hempstead

Where do I begin well the store name is 99Cent dreams but most of the stuff is more then 99 cent. They do have a lot of items but don't be fooled by the prices of said item. Reason being some items price is written on the shelve in marker and some items have the price attached like an average store. But the items where the price is written in marker on the shelve they change once you get to the register and this happen to me multiple times. Reason maybe because it's so many items in the store, how can they expect the cashiers to remember the price on the shelf. Then when u tell them the price they rang up was wrong the man behind the counter yells and tell you to be quiet people make mistakes. Told me to shut up once I told him I choose to spend my money in his store and he shouldn't be talking to me like that and I also said how many people do they cheat out there money he said who is you. I was so upset. But moral of this review is I give them 1 star because if they cheated me multiple times I'm sure they will cheat you!!!!!! SO BE CAREFUL . I'm done with dreams 99cent store in Hempstead NY 11550. There making extra money for there Savings off of Customers Pay attention...

Used to go there knew where everything I wanted was, got tired of waiting in line while I guess the boss would rather eat a sandwich or talk on the phone than take care of the customers sometimes more than 10 but even if it was 3 or 4 he should get the line moving. Found another location three blocks away...

This is a Variety Store, not a .99 Cent Store. The prices are higher than Walmart or Dollar Tree, but you'll probably find what you're looking for during this Covid season. Alcohol, peroxide, toilet paper, cleansers, disinfectant spray and wipes. Probably not name brand but you can't find Lysol or Clorox...
