Worst experience EVER! I had a scheduled appointment to come in to look for a wedding dress. I came in on time and was told my consultant wasn't there to go ahead and start to look around. Another consult was put with me while I waited for the assigned consultant and asked pant size and just told me the areas I can look, but nothing more than that. So obviously very overwhelmed have no idea what I'm looking for and no guidance at ALL. My consultant finally comes in 30 mins late. She seemed pretty unfriendly and distracted thr girls I came in were the only ones to help me pull a few dresses to try. While changing into dress my consultant was no where to be found never once came in to help with dresses or offered to. While I look to my side the girl beside me had 2 consultants helping. I was never measured at all and given wrong sized dresses so felt incredibly uncomfortable going out in a dress that wasn't even clipped to me to look like it fit correctly. All while multiple highschoolers where there getting prom dresses making it even more uncomfortable. When I came out in 3rd dress my friends informed me my consultant was off crying to a coworker so clearly something was going on in her personal life. It was wildly unprofessional and if something was going on another consultant should have taken her place. My friend that was helping my with the dresses got frustrated with everything going on and asked "do you want to come help her?!" The consultant FINALLY stepped in to help with clips. After last dress I left and knew I'd NEVER be coming back. Something that sound have been fun and excited left me anxious and in tears. It took me 2 months to even get myself to go to another bridal store to try again. My awful experience with David's bridal literally had me sick and tossing and turning before I went to the 2nd bridal shop fearing I'd have the same experience. Luckily the 2nd place I went to was not only SUPER professional, friend but also super helpful. Thank God there are some amazing bridal stores and consultants out there. Davids bridal sadly is not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFat shaming, eye rolling, canāt be bothered stylist. From the moment I walked in for my appointment the first person I saw rolled her eyes at me⦠which I found out was my stylist. No one at the desk to greet me, but instead the person who rolled her eyes at me saunters over to greet me. Doesnāt tell me her name (and never did) just asking me what I wanted. Another eye roll when I asked to go to the bathroom first even when I arrived ten minutes early. When I picked out a dress the stylist quipped āweāll have to see if itās in a bigger sizeā when I decided I wanted to try it on. Manager seemed like she couldnāt care less and was overrunning my stylist with three other guests besides me, which was unfortunate. Manager was rude to the stylist because she kindly put my phone on a chair so my friend who was FaceTimed in could be āreally thereā (which thatās the only reason for the two stars). It was a first time appointment which was supposed to be an hour and a half, but at 30mins was rushing me and saying I only had 30min left. When I needed a break my fiancĆ©e noticed that the stylist rolled her eyes at me for asking. I tried on about 10 dresses, picked out a color theme and was out the door in just over an hour including that break. I was a previous top bridal stylist at Davidās and itās such a shame to see how poorly the stylist are trained now. No undergarments suggested, no measurements taken and no accessories or shoes offered. The experience genuinely made me feel horrible about myself and this was my first time trying on dresses for my wedding. I went home and cried to my fiancĆ©e because of how the whole day went. I will not be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went into DB on 5/17/25 seeking a bridesmaid dress for my step daughter. We had a 12:00 appointment, we drove over an hour and a half and arrived 15 minutes early. We signed in and spoke with Corrine. We said we didnāt need help and could look on our own. Corrine explained that if we didn't keep our appointment nobody would be able to help us with anything, so we said ok, we will keep the appointment and start looking for dresses while they clean up from the last appointment. Ok⦠15 minutes pass, at this point we have several dresses picked out and go to try them on. Keep in mind NOBODY has approached us to āhelpā us at this point. My daughter needed a different size dress so i asked one of the employees (Isabella) who wasn't busy if she could simply point me in the direction of where that gown was. During this time Isabella took the initiative to help (without being asked) THANK YOU ISABELLA! During this time Corrine trolled over and looked me dead in the eyes and told Isabella she needed to take her lunch NOW! With that and my fiancĆ© glaring at me to keep my mouth shut i told my step daughter to take a picture of the tag and we would order it online. I will never step foot in any Davids store ever again, i encourage those of you reading this to shop small/local businesses where its not a game to try on clothes. If negative stars was an option, i would give this experience and store -5...
