It's hit or miss for me (not many guys clothes).
Selling: I've taken things in that were old that they have taken, there is a list of brands they "won't accept" which is basically the lower end department store stuff like Arizona, Point Zero etc. When looking through the clothing, half of it is from these companies so I'm not sure what that is all about. I brought in a shirt from A&F that I wore once and didn't like it but never took it back to the store within the return period, for some reason they said they turned it down due to condition, it was only a little over 2 months old and had only been worn and washed once, there was nothing wrong with it. They offer you decent deals I guess since you normally wouldn't get anything unless selling them yourself.
Buying: Watch the prices, I saw some shirts there that I got for less at the store itself in the clearance section. Henleys that were marked $20 and I got them at Hollister for $15. T-Shirts are usually decently priced but long sleeves you usually get nailed on. Pants are cheap, save around $10 on Hollister, A&F and AE but save even more on names like Express and Banana Republic (priced around $25 and retail for $70+ unless you find a good deal)
Overall, I don't go out of my way to stop there because I usually only find one or two shirts. Cheaper stuff online at the online outlet stores for the...

She told me it would be 15-20 minutes to check the items and they would let me know. So I looked around and waited. I eventually had to go ask about my things because they didn't seem to care about a customer waiting they only seem to care about the conversation they were having. So when I finally got to find out what they were going to buy it was a pair of jeans I had for atleast 5 years. They told me that my stuff was old or out dated when most of everything I had was name brand and bought this year. Also the way she proceeded to explain this she was rude, had the I'm better than you attitude, great way to make people wanna come back. NO THANK YOU!!! They really need to improve there crappie attitudes, personal conversation, ignoring customers and learn actually...
Read moreI used to love shopping at Plato's closet. They used to have nice prices and good clothing. But the other day while I was in there I saw ripped clothing, a stained scarf which they wouldn't discount, and had a bad sales experience. I brought in my clothes to sell 20 minutes before close and they said they would have it done before then. So when I go to check out they asked for my id which I did not have on me. Since I did not they wouldn't give me money, so I asked for my clothing back. They said they could also not give my clothing back to me since they had had problems in the past with other people coming in and getting other peoples clothes. Even though I never left the store and it was the same associate. They gave me 48 hours to bring in my ID or I would not get anything back whatsoever. This is unfair service, not even store...
