Riley's Lake George — Local services in Town of Lake George

I purchased this coffee mug a little over three years ago at a different gift shop in Lake George while on vacation and it has been my favorite coffee mug ever since. Sadly, I dropped it and broke it last week.

Heartbroken and determined to replace it, I called the original store I bought it from and they no longer carried it. I tried several other Lake George stores with no luck. I tried searching online at Amazon, ebay, Etsy and several other sites; I even tried looking at sites for wholesale gift shop distributors and didn't see anything even close to this wonderful large mug.

Feeling deflated, I stumbled upon Riley's website and called them as kind of a Hail Mary, not expecting to find it. I explained the situation to Julia, who was the VERY HELPFUL representative on the phone at the store. I described the mug to her and asked if I could email a couple photos of the mug to see if they had it in stock (the original is pictured WITH coffee in it).

Julia was kind enough to provide me with her personal email address, as they did not have an official store email address. I thought this went above and beyond normal customer service, to which I was VERY GRATEFUL. So I sent Julia my pictures, expecting to be disappointed. A little while later (probably less than an hour), Julia emailed me back with the good news that they had the mug in stock! She even sent a picture, to which I was OVERJOYED. I ordered two mugs this time, just to be safe, knowing my clumsy nature. Julia made my week with her exceptional customer service and kindness. I got the email confirmation this morning that the mugs have been shipped, so I am looking forward to that wonderful large cup of coffee in a few days. I can't recommend Riley's highly...

This has always been a "MUST GOTO SPOT" for our family when we come to Lake George, NY. This visit seemed different. The staff was very friendly and courteous as always. But there were some items that seemed "off" For example, a necklace with a crystal-type necklace that my daughter wanted to get for her friend. However, the box, the necklace was in... had arrows (Native) crossed behind. Had there been ANY type of clause indicating something about a portion of the proceeds, or, anything to connect to the Natives of this area (Mohican?) It would have made more sense and we would have made the purchase, but there was nothing about the necklace , or the Natives, at all. I get that the store caters to all types, so I have no concerns with the vast array of merchandise and We are very happy to see that they are beginning to...

I went here at the recommendation of a friend and I was very happy she recommended it. There were so many different things in there if you can't find a souvenir and Riley's you'll never find one anywhere formation point they had a million inexpensive t-shirts some of which were a dollar!!!! They had a lot of little Ceramics wall art bird feeders swimsuits things for the pool you name it! It's a really great place to go in case you forgot something on your vacation because they have everything you could possibly need if you forgot your bag. The other point I have to mention is that their prices were fantastic! You don't have to waste all of your vacation money on a souvenir.
