Wait an extensive period of time and call Kay's after no call or email. Call store your ring is in. My wife goes in waits 45 minutes as they were busy with only 2 employees. Gets ring doesn't get asked to check it and brings it to me. First thing I notice is wrong date in it and our initials are not in it. We go back to the store and wait in line 20 minutes. Girls says ohhh we tried calling you and it sounded like calling a fax machine. Says number woman called is wrong. I ask what number do you have on file? The number on file was right. She goes onto say we wanted to let you know it came in with the wrong date. Now I start to get heated, so if you knew it had the wrong date why did you just let my wife leave with it w/o saying something? All the women could say was sorry, we can send it back out. My wife also sends hers to be engraved.
After a couple weeks my ring comes back, right date and no initials. I said forget it just leave it the way it is. My wifes came back days later after mine and was the way she wanted it.
My wife decides she wants to add a 2nd wedding band, resize by 1/2 a ring size and have all 3 soldered together. Her rings are sent out.
Her rings come back and look beautiful all put together. She looks inside and all engravings are gone. Sales person says we can send it back out to be re-engraved. At this point we both said no in fear of how they will come back. Sales person says if we speak to the manager she may be able to offer a discount on a future purchase. đ€Ł future purchase?? You guys can't get the current purchase we made correct. Now waiting to hear back from the corporate office.
P.S. Dominick, the only one I will deal with in store from this point on has been very understanding! The manager Stacy, realizing there was nothing she could do after talking to my wife and I and Dominick and I stating I did report it to corporate, she makes a silent get away to the back room and never returned leaving us talking to Dominick. Waiting on corporate to reach back out after being told they would between 24 and 48 hours. After that time has past I called corporate back and was told sorry for the miscommunication but it will take 7 to 10 business days before your case is assigned to someone. So...
   Read moreThe jewelry was beautiful. However I had created my engagement ring online and went into the store because it wouldnât allow me to do the 36 month financing through the computer. I had them resize me in store to ensure the size was correct before they placed the order for me and when I got the ring, it cut off circulation to the rest of my finger (so it wasnât sized correctly). I didnât see anything saying you canât use the 36 months financing on customized jewelry, so it took forever to get that worked out (the sales reps when I picked it up were decent about getting the financing issue fixed). The ring sat in its box in my safe for a couple months until my fiancĂ© proposed. Within 5 days of Getting engaged (barely wearing it because it cut off circulation and I didnât have time to get it resized) I noticed one of the smaller stones on the side was missing. It took about an hour for them to be able to get everything set for me because their system wouldnât let them pull me up, and didnât show that I made the purchase. It also didnât show that I bought the protection plan (which my fiancĂ© bought when we picked up the ring, which we were told to do by the salesperson) so I was there for another 30-45 minutes while they were getting everything figured out to get my ring sent to be repaired. My ring was expected to be in Saturday. I went on the chat on Monday and was told that it would be there the next day (Tuesday).After calling the store I was told it was only shipped out today (Tuesday) and it would be in tomorrow (Wednesday). They contradicted themselves 30 seconds later by saying that it normally takes 2 days to arrive (which would put it as Thursday). Thereâs no way to track the service of your ring thatâs being sent across the country, or any guarantee of when it will be in.    Read moreBought an engagement ring for my fiancĂ© and had to bring it back to get it resized. Iâll start by saying the guy that works there. The only guy Iâve seen there Iâm unsure his name but he is super nice. I have zero issues with him and heâs always been respectful and polite. We got it resized once and and was told a date it would be done called a âpromise dateâ, the website showed it was still being shipped to the repair center the day before the promised date to get back to me was, and when my fiancĂ© called that day because of what the app was showing to get an update she called and talked to some lady and the lady said she would call her back with an update. Half the day goes by and we get no call back so my fiancĂ© calls back and the lady told her that it will be another week before it comes back very rudly that itâs a busy time of year. My fiancĂ© was upset with that answer as the promise date was the next day and after a few words the ring was mysteriously done now and was shipped back on the promise day. We pick it up. All good now. A couple months go by and now a diamond falls out, so she goes down to the store to schedule a repair and once again, the guy that works there was fine, super nice and it gets sent out. The app showed still that it was being shipped to the facility so we call the store the day before the promise date again just to get an update. The lady calls me back this time and says that itâs being shipped back. So that was good news. So my fiancĂ© calls on the promise date to see if it arrived yet and they said it in fact was there. So she goes to pick it up and the lady was telling the other co worker when she arrived âthey always call, thatâs why we never call them â in a very rude way.
