Rock and Snow Annex — Local services in Town of New Paltz

My first time here, I understand Rock and Snow to be a community giant here in New Palsy, having supported and contributed much to the climbing community. The annex had a ton of used or almost new outdoor gear from snowshoes, bags, shoes, harnesses, clothes, and more. Calling it a thrift store feels very odd to me however as the prices were barely thrifty even when compared to top shelf retail prices. I guess it's more like a thrift store in that the products are hit and miss; you might find a really great pair of pants, but none like that in your size. The legend continues. The Rock and Snow Annex is a great place to buy or consign gently used outdoor gear and clothing. Same friendly (and helpful!) staff.

Consignors can use credit toward gear purchases—a huge plus.

I love trying out new gear but end up with too much. It’s great that someone else gets to enjoy it after I have, and it is a little bit better...

Got to love the annex! Decent prices on used and new (sample) clothes and gear. I feel like you always find something when you go in. They have shoes, socks, clothes, camping gear, ski gear, bags and every so often, crash pads. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I love to stop here every time...
