Upon arrival at the Men's Warehouse on old country road was not a pleasant experience at all. It took about ten minutes to even be acknowledged while standing at the front counter. Once the associate recognized that I was there, he seemed bothered by my presence, which is completely unacceptable. Good customer service should always start with a friendly greeting and an eagerness to help, which did not happen in this visit.
Furthermore, the fact that the associate and his colleague never really spoke with me is also concerning. Renting a tuxedo can be a complicated process, and customers need to be able to rely on the expertise of the staff to ensure that everything fits properly and looks good. This surely did not happen. No one was there to assist with the final fit - again, I was not a priority. They never looked at it with me. I had to reassemble to garments into their bag. Took it to the desk, and someone else scanned the label and sent me off with no communication. I am very upset about how I looked..
The fact that the tuxedo had a horrible fit only adds to the frustration of my experience. It's unacceptable for a rental service to provide ill-fitting garments, especially for such an important occasion as my daughter's wedding. The fact that many of the rental party experienced the same issue only highlights the incompetence of this pickup location.
Overall, I would not recommend this Men's Warehouse pickup location to anyone in need of a tuxedo rental. The customer service was lacking, and the rental itself was not up to par. It's important to feel confident and comfortable in what you wear, especially for a special event like a wedding. I did NOT "Love the way I looked"
Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of that standard, and I would advise customers to look elsewhere for their tuxedo...
Read moreI went to Mens Wearhouse to rent a tuxedo for my friends wedding in the beginning of May for a wedding in late August. They explicitly stated that the suits wouldn't be ready until less than 3 days before the wedding. They charged me $240 for a one day rental with a $20 penalty for every day I don't return it, starting from the day after the wedding.
You would think that after taking measurements for a few minutes and having 3 months time they would have enough time to provide a fitting suit. The fact that two of me could have fit in the shirt and the jacket would only fit if I was a skeleton, did not stop them from trying to convince me the suit fit me well and didn't need any changes. They also told me the tie color was going to be different. See picture of the tie I'm wearing vs the one they said I'd get. My girlfriend bought a dress to match me all for nothing. After declaring I paid $240 for a one day rental and I wont accept it unless they fix it, they got me a tailor.
Four shirts, two jackets and two hours later I finally got what I ordered. I've been a groomsman for four weddings and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a rental. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else. I'd give them 0 stars, but since I walked out with a fitting suit, it wouldn't be right.
I understand fits change and whatnot, but them trying to insist that things fit me when they clearly don't after paying good money for the service left me irritated. Their last minute turn around was also disappointing.
If you're forced to use them, make sure to try on whatever you wore and spend five minutes reading on Google how a suit is supposed to fit if you're not familiar. I certainly wouldn't trust their judgement. What a...
Read moreUPDATE: After much hassle and back and forth, a refund was issued. My husband is on the phone now with customer service and I cannot believe what Iâm hearing. I thought they were going to do the right thing with their offer of issuing a full refund for the horrible tuxedo rental experience in which a shirt was ripped, shoes were scuffed and did not fit, and a button was missing â for his daughterâs wedding day. But now they are claiming that the $100 cash given to the store will not be refunded because there is no record of it. Did the clerk make a mistake or steal? This is beyond unacceptable. They refuse to investigate so not only did they ruin his experience with a horrible rental but now are trying to gaslight him into believing he didnât pay the $100 in cash, and instead received an adjustment. Now we understand why in all the confusion of dealing with the poor quality clothes he did not get a receipt. UPDATE: Anita at Customer Service did in fact investigate and the store told her that the âjacket was declined,â so a discount was applied. Ok, now think about that: you go to rent a tuxedo suit for your daughterâs wedding, you need to match the bridal party, BUT you arbitrarily, after being measured for and upon picking up all of a sudden decide NOT to wear the JACKET! There is only one conclusion that can be drawn about whatâs going on at this store and itâs not good. Kudos to Retail Manager Carlos for putting my husband in touch with Customer Service, kudos to Tamika for handling the complaint professionally with the offer of a full refund, and thank you to Anita for finally believing my husband that he did in fact hand over $100 in cash and did in fact rent the entire suit,...
